Andrew Cambrideshire | Other The location is excellent, by the water, quiet but near enough to the shops, pubs etc. The property and furnishings, both inside and out, are very good, modern, clean and comfortable. But there was one big drawback for us....the weather was cold and there is no adequate heating. The fan heater in the lounge/dining room threw out minimal heat, which was useless in the large room. The only other heating consisted of wall fan heaters in the other rooms which weren't of much benefit. The electricity is also an extra charge which is annoying when you are having to pay extra but cant keep warm. I realise that it was unfortunate that the weather was so cold but if the property is let out in colder months you should be able to keep warm. We resorted to wearing our coats and blankets in the evening...not ideal! I'm sure that if the weather is nice this would be an ideal holiday property but it really does need updating with central heating for the colder days.
