What an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful clean lodges in a great place for exploring. We had a fantastic weekend and have booked to go back! Tony is very hospitable and showed us different lodges all of which were immaculate. We travelled with friends and a small dog who equally enjoyed their stay. The hot tub was great for relaxing in the evening. Thank you to Tony and the staff, looking forward to August!
Loved the lodge, it's big and comfy and has everything you need. The grounds are pretty with lots of birds and animals to see. The local pub is very friendly and has a good restaurant and a beer garden. Looking forward to visiting again x

Visited Keswick and did some boating around Derwent Water. Next day Ullswater and the Ullswater Steamer. Final day, back to Keswick and walked up Cat Bells (if you take a small dog (terrier), you will need to carry in a couple of places).
Excellent holiday and we have already rebooked to go back this year.
