Visited Keswick and did some boating around Derwent Water. Next day Ullswater and the Ullswater Steamer. Final day, back to Keswick and walked up Cat Bells (if you take a small dog (terrier), you will need to carry in a couple of places).

We had a brilliant time from start to Finnish what a place this is can't wait to go back
Lodge was beautiful very smartly decorated and furnished. Everything you could need is provided with plenty of utensils, glasses, towels etc. Hot tub was lovely and ready to use on arrival. Staff came to explain controls for hot tub and heating etc. quickly after arrival and Wi-Fi password was easily available and worked well. Welcome pack was a nice touch too which included milk, water, tea/coffee and even a toblerone! Would definately go back to these loaded again in future.

Lovely lodge - very clean and nicely laid out. Excellent facilities, especially the hot tub. Great that they accept dogs. However, hot tub decking not completed and we had problems locking the French doors (which were not resolved during our visit).
Great lodge. Could have had more wine glasses, sharp knives and a chopping board.
