Beautiful place and was perfect for what we wanted. There was only a few small things as to why we did not give a 10. There was no luxury toiletries that where advertised, there were none at all. It says that there is complimentary wi-fi, there is not. When opening the dishwasher the wood underneath kept popping off and we had to keep putting it back. The freezer draws where hard to open as the freezer really needs to be defrosted and the dressing gowns had marks of dirt on them. Also some of the stitching on the bedding was coming apart so there was holes in it. There was also tools left outside the cabin (which we thought would be moved) which left a jigsaw blade exposed. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay and the hottub was amazing as well as the view.

Update of mattresses is definitely needed. But we would highly recommend as it was very relaxing and great set up. I do think it is quite expensive for just a 2 night break. A lot more people are likely to visit if it wasn’t as expensive.

The view from the hot tub over the donkeys and alpacas field was so relaxing. Idyllic location and high end accommodation. So many lovely little touches from the toiletries in the immaculate bathroom to the complimentary bottle of wine and the kitchen and lodge facilities made it much better than I expected. We needed to leave a day early but I contacted Maureen who could not have been more helpful, I dropped her a text 15 minutes before leaving and she came straight over and returned our deposit and checked we’d had a lovely time. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Such a relaxing getaway, would definitely recommend, whatever the weather is. Lovely surroundings, beautiful animals, perfect place for leisurely walks. Lodge was clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful.
