A very relaxing break away even in snowy conditions. Our hosts were very helpful. cosy lodge with a very warm wood pellet burning stove. Great to sit in its glow, watching the snow outside through the large windows in the upstairs and downstairs lounge areas.

We visited this lodge between 26/2/18 and 5/3/18 for a week’s get away.
The lodge was warm and clean on arrival and fully furnished with everything we could need including toilet rolls, towels, a torch, cutlery, cleaning up items, soap shampoo and conditioner.
The lodges provided excellent wifi (10mbps) which was used throughout the stay as well as having an outstanding hot tub which had a built in radio (and Bluetooth). The lodge is heated by a bio boiler that requires pellets to be filled into it (approx. every 12 hours) these were all supplied and kept topped up for us at no extra cost.
The area around the lodge is very scenic with fields and hill walking areas. There is also a pond area outside the lodges which had animals visiting it at all areas of the day/night. Newtown is located approx. 10-15 minutes from the lodge by car, here there are shops, take aways and even a cinema.
The lodge has a book within which has the telephone number of several take aways who deliver to the resort as well as number for taxi services who can collect you if you wish to go out into town.
During our dates we were at the lodge while heavy snow fall hit the UK. As my car was unable to get out of the area Paul offered us assistance and even went as far as giving us a lift into the local town to get some provisions to last us the most part of the week.
Throughout our stay Paul continually provided excellent customer service and cleared around our lodge to the hot tub and even gritted up the road to allow cars to get in and out of the resort.
I cannot rate the lodge itself and service we received highly enough and we will defiantly be returning in the future.
