Make time to visit Huddersfield, and the Henry Moore Sculpture Centre, Royal Armouries and Granary Wharf craft shops in Leeds, or take the train to York to explore its Minster and Viking and Railway Museums.

Climbing dramatically from Leeds through the Pennines, the Leeds & Liverpool Canal cuts across the moors and through a long tunnel before descending into Lancashire. On a canal boat holiday of a week or more, you'll marvel at the famous Bingley Five Rise lock staircase and breathtaking views.
