Narrow stretches of canal widen into broad, open waters as you cruise through stunning scenery - distant mountains, rugged moors and hills covered with trees and heathers right to the water's edge. You'll find loch banks fringed with hidden coves and secluded inlets, and dotted with fascinating towns, villages and castles to explore. Adding to the ease of your cruise, all locks on the Caledonian Canal are operated by lock keepers at no extra charge.

Explore the mysterious waters of Loch Ness on your Caledonian Canal cruise, and discover the haunting ruins of Castle Urquart, or go pony trekking and then stop off at Drumnadrochit to take in the Loch Ness Monster Museum or visit Foyers to admire the famous waterfalls.

There's so much to see and do on a Caledonian Canal holiday. You can shop for tackle at Fort Augustus and enjoy a spot of excellent fishing on Loch Oich, or try out a range of water sports at the Great Glen Water Park, and take a stroll round Invergarry Castle.
