We all loved the cottage, home from home. The hot tub was great but it needed a canopy as the Welsh weather is rather inclement

Lovely barn conversion with all the amenities you could think of. Lovely owners who were always handy and very helpful. A very large hot tub and enclosed garden, well maintained. It would be nice if the hot tub was under a gazebo for rainy days. 5 minute walk from a small town which has all the banks and shops you can think off including at least 3 butchers. Be prepared to drive for main attractions. There is a bypass being built out the back and there is noise throughout the day from this, although it didn't bother us. Cinema room is a great addition and was well used.

We loved the setting and it was very private. The duvet should be larger to fit the beds better. There should be more information kept in the house pack appliances etc. We did not find the local attractions material till the end of the week.

At first when we got to newtown and entered a housing estate we were worried it would not be our thing being country folk, however this was very deceiving as the property itself is on a hill, behind the housing estate and so peaceful, with lovely views. The house was well equipped and big enough for our 3 dogs, 1 baby, a child and 9 adults. We booked the cottage for the royal welsh show week (a must see). The cottage is approx 1houraway but on reading the show website it stated no dogs. We rang the owners to try and find a kennel or dog walker near by (the show is an all day visit, its so big). The owners said we could put our dogs in one of his secure sheds on his farm (nearby) and they would look after them and wouldnt take a penny from us when we offered! We felt reassurred knowing our dogs were in safe hands, could run round the shed and would be let out/walked. Thank you so much for going the extra mile! The wine and chocolates on the table when we arrived was a lovely touch and the hot tub was amazing. Cathy allowed us to use a empty field to allow the dogs to excercise in, but they enjoyed running around the big secure garden. The cottage is literally 5 mins from the town, ideal for the supermarkets, pubs and takeaways. We had an fab week away, the only thing i would change is the slow wifi, but luckily there was plenty of3/4G signal. Would defo return!

Fabulous lodge, plenty of room for 9 people. Beautiful location within walking distance to the small town. The only thing i would say is that you only get given one towel and with showering and use of the hot tub I personally needed two so went and bought one. There is a washer dryer so not the end of the world. Overall a fantastic time had by all, wpukd definitely want to return.

Fantastic cottage. The owners were welcoming and friendly and saw to our comfort and where on hand if we needed any help. Very clean and well presented property with all the mod cons as well as a fantastic cinema room with blu ray player and freesat. Fantastic hot tub and garden for the little one to play in. Had a fantastic week and would love to stay again

Really nice holiday owners were amazing very helpful, nice, and they even put us some mesh on their fence to stop our small dog getting out, the only bad points were the wifi was slow which is an easy fix for them, and we found the beds uncomfortable which again can be easily fixed now. Thank you we had a lovely week and we would stay here again, but like i said i would avise replacing the matresses with better quality ones and updating the wifi because then it would've been perfect :)

We had a lovely time here. The place was spotless with very impressive features. Only down side was that the tub had been cleaned on the Friday so wasn't warm enough for us to use on the Friday. We only stayed for two nights so we were disappointed to not be able to use it both nights. If the tub had been ready our stay would have been a 10 as other than that we throughly enjoyed and would definitely book again.

Overall a lovely stay. The owners were great and very friendly. Only downside was one of the beds was pretty lumpy and the sofas were a bit worn. The place is fab. The hot tub a real treat. And the cleaning was second to none. Lovely for a cheeky weekend away with friends and family.
