All breaks for all arrivals
Excellent holiday park close to the beach and excellent local amenities. Will definitely visit again.
From day 1 the water pressure of our caravan was so low that most of the time it just trickled!
Being left stood outside the launderette until 20 past 9, after having to twice ask a staff member to let me in, was curtly told they didn't even have the key to open it and the staff member who did was not going to be there until around 10!
On the 3rd day there was a burst pipe which meant we had to buy our own water over the next 24hrs! (8 people)
The site shop closed at 6 when most families were coming back from their day out!
An absolutely rubbish phone & wifi signal.
A stuffy clubhouse with no air conditioning and the only "fresh air" from open doors leading to the "smoking area"!!!
The rest of the staff we had the occasion to meet were amazingly friendly, helpful and polite.
Good week, nice site.
There was a water problem during our stay, water that was coming out the taps was brown in colour...for like two days!!!!! It wasn't there fault because apparently it was the whole dawlish area but they should have something in place, didn't even provide us with clean drinking water which were sold out in sainsbury!!! They had to close the swimming pool as well, we went the next day only to find out that there is no shower room to wash yourself after. The caravan was ok because it was fairly new but of course that came with a price. We didn't last 30 minutes in their entertainment area as it was quite boring and suffocating, no proper ventilation. Will never go back there! Will warn my friends too!!!
Lovely location, nice caravan, facilities could be a lot better. Not the type of park where you can stay on site all day, no or very little water supply in the caravan during peak times of the day didn't help.
The site advertises an outdoor pool yet it was rarely open
The pool table was poorly maintained in the clubhouse
The park was very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It is reasonably well located and probably benefits from being slightly further from the town centre.
We stayed here 25th July 2015 for one week. Upon arrival we were v disappointed to be told swimming pools were closed as had a problem. We were pointed in direction of park opposite and told to use their pools.
Caravan was new but extremely dusty and small. Thank goodness for pull out bed in lounge as my husband and I could not both fit in the alleged double bed together. My children aged 8 and 13 struggled in the twin room as beds ridiculously small in there as well. Absolutely no storage whatsoever. Tiny wardrobes and no other cabinets or drawer units. We had to use kitchen cupboards to store clothes.
The club house staff were friendliest on site and gave us directions to the beach which is walkable distance. We found a lovely pub which overlooks the beach called Mount Pleasant Inn.
My kids are like fish and of course wanted to swim so my husband took them to the pool in opposite campsite as told - which was indeed opposite but up a hill and a really good walk. My 8 year old came back with blisters! Which meant every time we wanted to use the pool we had to go by car. We asked in reception every day re the pools only to be told rather flippantly that it was out of their control and not their fault. Angry?? I was fuming! Only reason booked that campsite was indoor and outdoor pool. We could have gone to sites that were alot cheaper if didn't want a pool. Pool was fixed and opened on the Wed. We'd had enough by the Fri! We left the caravan in a better state than when we had arrived and felt entirely ripped off!
Caravan was lovely, brand new. However, site needs money spent on it. Clubhouse tatty, and needs re-doing. Must have been about 35c in there during the bingo. Nice area though, so don't let me put anyone Dawlish Warren.
Great location and lovely caravan but pool was closed for most of our holiday and the one we was told to use was horrible at another park. Food was great bingo seamed to drag on every night. Overall quite happy
We had a fantastic holiday on a very nice small site. The pool was particularly lovely.
Lovely park well cared for but pool was terrible dirty and uncared for lifeguards didn't care and changing rooms were awful no impressed at all
We had a great short break. The park itself is nice and quiet but near to a little resort that has everything you need.
Pool area is really nice.
Very disapointing - We chose this site as we liked the swimming pool but it was closed for almost the duration of our stay.
Not much on the site to do. Both swimming pools were out of action for 4 days of the holiday then only the indoor pool was open. We was told to use their 'sister' site Golden Sands for their pool, however when we went to take a look the outdoor pool had a thick brown stain around the edge and the steps were black. I didn't feel it wise to use as I feared us becoming ill.
The shop was only open if the reception area was open so on occasions we had to leave the site to purchase items. When we did go in the fresh milk was stored on the floor in front of an empty fridge.
