Little Moreton Hall (NT) is just 1 mile. Town amenities in Congleton (5 miles), whilst Chester, with its zoo and Roman wall, is within easy reach. The famous Pottery towns are only 8 miles away, with visitor centres, factory shopping and Waterworld swimming leisure centre. Within 15 miles are Quarry Bank Mill, Tatton Park, Biddulph Grange, Stapeley Water Gardens and the exciting Jodrell Bank Science Centre. The Alton Towers theme park with its array of ’white knuckle’ rides is 20 miles. There is a small marina shop on the adjacent boatyard (open in season), and a village shop can be found 0.75 miles away.

    Enjoyable holiday and at a reasonable cost. Some fittings could do with a makeover, such as missing handles etc. but overall comfortable. Plenty of activities within easy reach. eg. Jodrell Bank, Wedgwood, Alton Towers

    A lovely place for all the family to get together. Loads of space and a lovely peaceful setting. Loved our lazy day's cruise on the dayboat too.

    We enjoyed our week at Heritage Wharf (7 adults and 2 kids), and are looking forward to going back later this year. There is lots of space, lots of beds, it's well equipped (inc. large fridge and large freezer) and we would recommend it. It's also nice to be so close to the narrow boats and the marina.
