We couldn't really fault Shore Cottage ... comfortable, clean and well-maintained in an almost fairy tale location on the shores of Loch Fyne, with glorious, ever-changing views, fascinating wildlife all around and beautiful walks from the doorstep. Aside from a couple of trips out to stock up on food, and taking advantage of a sunny day to visit Gigha, we were more than happy to stay put for most of the week was stayed. Everything we wanted and needed was right here. We've already rebooked for next year. And by the way ... just for the record ... you do NOT need a four wheel drive vehicle to get down the access road - it's just an ordinary, slightly rough, unmade-up country lane. I have a bog standard Nissan Almera and it gave me no trouble at all.

Amazing place, peace and quiet. Safe for the dogs who loved every minute. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. If I win the Euromillions tonight I am seeing if I can buy it and would live there forever. Loved it

The only issue is the access road my own car would have bottomed out fortunately my son's car just made it. But well worth it when you got there.

Great cottage and ideal location for'getting away'. If taking dogs there is quite a high likelihood they will get ticks when rummaging in undergrowth so be prepared.

Loved Shore Cottage, my only comment would be to advise customers that the track to the property is very rough, luckily we arrived in a 4 wheel drive as I am a travel agent and had booked this for a client and she advised me, if we had come in our other car, we wouldn't have made it down the track!

A great cottage on the shore of loch Fyne . Well equipped and furnished . The log stove was lovely. We had some fantastic walks and saw a variety of wild life there . An enclosed garden makes it great for the dog
