Lovely cottage, my only complaint was that the main bathroom was downstairs which meant you had to go downstairs in the middle of the night if you needed the toilet, as only one of the main bedrooms was ensuite. Also a nasty stain on the dining room carpet needed attending to. However lovely location very peaceful and everything else was very satisfactory.

We had a lovely holiday with our sons aged 13, 11, and 10. The house was spacious, warm, and clean, with plenty of character. Being on the preserved railway station was wonderful, especially as we were able to catch the steam train from outside our door, and had a full tour of the signal box. Visits to llangollen, the Great Orme (a bit of a long drive), the aquaduct, climbing Snowdon, Betws Y Coed, and Chester were all great, and the are lovely walks from the station.

Lovely place to stay, a must for steam enthusiasts, staff on the line really friendly and helpful, local area really stunning. A great week. Seems a little expensive for the region? But nevertheless a lovely week. Would recommend to others.

This is a lovely cottage which is set out in fabulous surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful area where only birdsong is heard in the mornings...it's bliss. It is decorated to a good standard and has all the equiptment you will need to make your stay comfortable. It was very clean throughout and it was clear this place is very much loved by the owners. We would certainly recommend this cottage and want to return for another break!

Lovely house in quiet location. Needs a bit of attention to routine maintenance (e.g. light fittings not working) and general decor beginning to looked tired. However still a nice place to stay.......this was our second stay.
