All breaks for all arrivals
The team were really helpful.
Facilities were good, the only thing missing was a cafe/restaurant.
This was the worst place I have ever been. We where very disappointed in this. Not worth the money we paid and would not recommend this to any one.
Enjoyed our short break. The club children's facilities during Monday to Friday were very sparce. Food/Snacks were unavailable in the evenings which could have made our children a little happier.
Set in a terrible location, nothing to do especially for teenagers, though the pool was ok for my six year old, and my dog enjoyed the holiday best has he had about 17 walks a day as thats all there was to do! though even that was walking round in circles as no where to walk him! hardly any entertainment and what there was was very poor and centered at children. worst break ive ever had, boring to say the least! Also we booked a Ribchester caravan and ended up staying in an old fashioned basic caravan!
Nice place to stay, staff friendly, had a couple of issues with equipment in the van. Difficulty in booking in, they changed our van about 3 times.
We were unable to access our caravan at 4pm as stated, because it hadn't been cleaned, but reception staff had assured us it had, they had no keys at reception to give us and told us that the cleaners were in the van and if we popped up there they would give us our keys, this was a lie because as we approached the van the cleaners appeared behind us and we had to wait over 45minutes outside the van whilst they cleaned it,not a very good start to our holiday, they also didn't have enough clean bedding for our beds so they assured us someone would bring the rest of it asap, after 30 minutes had passed I rang reception to enquire as to when this bedding would arrive as I had two young children who were ready for bed,it eventually arrived after my second call to reception, these are basics and if you can't get these things right it's not acceptable
Waited nearly an hour to check in due to not enough staff and endless complaints of dirty caravans. Our caravan was ok but very basic stayed in better accommodation for the money paid. The site could have a lot more to offer there is no cafe/restaurant and the shop is bare minimum and unmanaged. There is no security on the site so expect noise at night.
The caravan was horrible, it smelt of dogs when I went to reception to ask if there has ever been a dog in there they said no, I then went to the onsite shop and bought cleaning products and went back to the caravan to clean it. I was horrified at what I discovered when I swept the carpet in the living room area, it was full of dog hair and I don't mean a little bit of dog hair (if I could post a picture of it I would) I then swept the living seating and the swearing around the dining table yet again more dog hair, when checking out the lady at reception asked if everything was alright, I shown her the picture of all the dog hair I had swept out of the carpet and seating areas and asked her if she would let her 9 month old baby crawl around in that she said "no I wouldn't" then I told her if I would of let my baby crawl round on the floor that's what she would of been crawling round in I then told her that I has swept that out of the carpet in one of their top caravans that I was told hadn't had dog in it, the only reply I got from that was "sorry but we use an independent cleaning company to clean the caravans" well I must say they don't do a good job at all. I can't fault the area the site is in its lovely and the entertainment at night was good, the other let down was the children's soft play area, wrecked is not the word the netting round the top half was all ripped, there were hardly any balls in the ball pits and it was just generally unclean, also this is not supervised by any members of staff either I ended up taking my children out as my 2 year old ended up being kicked in the face by a 14 year old boy who was bouncing all over the place with his friends and swearing there heads off, my 8 year old son also had his little finger bent back by another child in the soft play area the finger was bent that far back that his whole hand was bruised and swollen, HORRIBLE PLACE AVOID
Things missing in caravan. Took 3 days to fix smoke alarm properly. The pool was open very limited times. However staff on reception were friendly and wanted to help but appeared to have no authority to do so. The surroundings were lovely pity the site did not make most of it.
Upon arrival we found our caravan to be dirty. It had been cleaned but not well enough.
Enjoyed our stay the caravan was lovely but the park looking a bit tired
The staff were very helpful and friendly
We had a good time. Small friendly park great for young children
Dirty caravan, dirty site, very, very poor service from staff, totally never go there again.
We had a good holiday, the children's entertainment could have been longer than 45mins. Whilst we were there the kids got told they were not allowed on karaoke, this was really unfair and cruel, that was the kids holiday maybe in a year. There was no restaurant or fast food. The toilets in the bar and swimming pool area was short of a bottle of bleach. The static caravan was great, clean and plenty of room, and everything we needed.
