Lodge number 16 needs updating in the kitchen. The cooker is not capable of use for making full meals. It is an old cooker and needs replacing. The lodge is described as luxury, the appliances should match this description. This was the only let down, The lodge is really nice and spacious. Location is lovely and the hot tub is fabulous.

Would definitely return
The cabins are excellent for a relaxing weekend away from it all. A little on the expensive side and for some reason, I couldn't get the ipad to connect to the wifi (although that's possibly not such a bad thing!) Recommend taking easy to cook food for the weekend as well - M&S dinners work well with the surroundings. Dog thoroughly enjoyed it too.

Modern, clean and everything you need all at hand.
The lodge is set out to a high standard with all you need inside.
I would suggest you take your own non. Stick frying pan if cooking breakfast in the mornings.
This was our 4th stay since 2011 in a Bulrush waters edge Lodge. we love the lodges overlooking the lake and the hot tub is great esp as it is covered so you can sit out in the rain . The lodges are always spotless well equipped modern and warm .
the clubhouse bar is nice and quiet with good priced drinks inc soft and hot drinks with a pool table, and free table tennis upstairs . theres 2 good eating pubs in the village just across from park 10 min walk , a good fish and chip shop which offers either takeway or sit in and a Chinese same takeaway or restaurant as well as a costcutter .They now have a pizzeria Restaurant Berts on site which we had dinner in one night it is nice and overlooks the lake but preferred the Dacre arms pub in the village you get good home cooked large portions and drinks are better choice and are cheaper as there is no draught Drinks so is more expensive in Berts . you can have a quiet relaxing stay or do, pitch and putt, kayaks or pedolo on lake as well as waterwalkers until 31st October, theres a small childs play area (away from lodges) and tennis courts and bikes to hire. Hornsea is 15 min drive, &Beverley market town bridlington and hull are within a 30 minute drive ,scarborough is a hrs drive . Highly Recommened Dacre Lakeside park Bulrush wateredges Lodges and Dacre Arms Pub and The Chip shop in Brandesburton Village .

A wonderful and relaxing week exactly what we were after. Park and lodge were fresh and clean, lodge well equipped. Berts pizzeria was nice. Staff very helpful. On the edge of a village with two decent pubs, a small convenience store, butchers, chip shop and chinese.

Beautiful setting, fantastic accommodation, very relaxing location
We loved this place , was able to travel along the east coast.
Hull was not that far , if you wish to go .
The actual park and the accommodation was very good clean tidy ,it was a beautiful holiday in Nov , so it was quite .and we would've liked to have had longer 7 days was not enough .
Would return and would recommend .
We were upgraded to coneygarth park next to the DacreLakeside Park I in a 'for sale' lodge , which was outstanding in every respect. The view was lovely an excellent hot tub and accommodation supurb. This was a fantastic week made all the more memorable for great days out to Beverley, Whitney Bay ,Scarborough, Briddlington and Filey. The week visiting an area we had not previously been to was a resounding success.
We had an absolutely fantastic time and have already booked to come back again next April, the lodge was really lovely and the view of the lake was fantastic. We also had a meal in the restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Have visited this park three times this year with my partner and can't wait to go back again, each time in one of the garden lodges. It is a perfect getaway, nice and private, very cosy and modern and the hot tub is amazing. We went to the on site restaurant each time too and again would definitely recommend, the food is high quality and well priced. The other lodges that overlook the main lake and the smaller lake also look very nice but less private than the garden lodges. Staff are very friendly and the activities such as kiyaking and pitch and putt are cheap and great for all ages. Would definitely recommend this park :)

Stayed there with my two children. spent most of time on site, kayaking and cycling. Site very quiet and relaxing.
Did one big shop in a town 9 miles away. Village opposite site had more than enough: shop, Post office, two pubs and a Chinese restaurant.
Will be booking again
Fab place, great location, staff are really lovely, its our 4th stay,
Lovely park. Stayed in bulrush lodge. Lodge great however we took a fair bit of food and there was no space in cupboards to store it. Hot tub was fab but please note that the people walked right past balcony to get to the Lake to fish and I
found the lack of privacy was an issue
