We stayed in a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. It was really homely and spacious. We had everything we needed for a wonderful break.

We had wanted to stay in the cottage since we first came to Hillcroft 10 years ago and this year we finally did and were not disappointed spacious living area with beautiful views comfy beds, and all the comforts of home that you could wish for, and to top it all a hot tub round the back. We would definitely stay in the cottage again.

The cottage was very well decorated with all the modern equipment with some welcome items, which was lovely.
It may be beneficial to collate the information on use of the hot tub as the park's rules differed to the instructions given by the company
We would certainly recommend the cottage to other people.

Excellent accommodation, slight issue with a weak shower, but everything else was excellent.
Confirmed guest, 2015-03-21
we found the cottage to be of an exceptionally high standard with everything present as described plus more that hadn't been like tea ,coffee, milk and even a complimentary bottle of wine. A superb place for a break!

The cottage was immaculate on arrival and had been pre heated for us due to the cold weather on the day of arrival.
The decor was homely and in good condition. It appeared if the cottage had been recently decorated

The accommodation was great, as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. A bottle of wine and a little welcome note were really appreciated after a long drive and the personal touch made all the difference. The staff are really friendly and happy to help, very much a family run business who care about making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. As expected, the hot tub was amazing! We were lucky as the weather was beautiful, lovely crisp winter days which made jumping in to a hot tub all the better. The beds were incredibly comfortable, they made it hard to get up! The only thing I could criticise; simply to give some feedback to make the accommodation perfect, would be that the shower was a bit weak and temperamental. Overall, really great place and we would love to go back.

Helpfulness of staff
Staff were very good, couldn't do enough for you. The lodge was excellent and welcoming with a nice bottle of wine to greet us. We will defiantly go again and take the whole family. We had a good relaxing break just what we needed 😀

The holiday park was beautifully kept and accommodation spotless. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely like to return. Although the little shop on site was very small the town was within walking distance for anything else you may need. There were laundry facilities on site which would be very useful when we return for a longer stay.
The site was ideally situated to explore the north part of the Lake District.

Fabulous cottage and hot tub. Hot tub could have a cover above for bad weather but with out a top cover we still thoroughly enjoyed. With the warmth and mood lighting.
Location good central for touring, short stroll to Pooly Bridge. View from sitting room window beautiful.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Added a lovely touch by lighting the log fire as a treat for our arrival, The car park was our only concern we felt we needed to keep the bedroom blinds closed day and night.
We will defiantly revisit. The cottage had everything you could wish for. Highly recommend.
Fantastic location. Accommodation lovely. Very helpful friendly staff. We will be booking again soon. One slight suggestion to make, it would be brilliant if you could have a doggy washing area, just somewhere to rinse off their paws.

We enjoyed our stay on this quiet park. The grounds were well kept and the park facilities were very clean. It is a very easy walk down to Pooley Bridge with its pubs and shops, but it is more demanding returning home uphill. The shop had very little in it because it was closing at the end of the week for the winter. It would have been helpful to get the basics there.
Great park with great accommodation. Very helpful staff. Ideal location to explore the north eastern Lakes.

Excellent holiday in lovely accommodation and location. Just 5/10 min walk from Pooley Bridge pubs which all were really dog friendly. The holiday park was really well maintained and the staff really helpful. We couldn't fault it.

Lovely lodge and area but only stayed two nights and the hot tub was cold first night and didn't heat up till following day so lost a night in it , so should have been switched on lot earlier . Hence being marked down in survey

Lovely, peaceful holiday park within easy walking distance of Pooley Bridge (a torch will be required if heading back after dark!) The park itself was well kept and staff very helpful...even got escorted to our holiday home on arrival! Would definately return.
