Van itself faultless, however pool area was dirty and tired, staff - what staff? And club was like a working mans tap bar.
Whilst the park is nice to stay in the caravan needs a bit to be desired, with our bad weather, things like gaps in window fittings which cause howling winds and dafts, holes in floor around toilet. Our electric failed at +/- 4 am no one to help even the securty/maintenance number was unanswered. Only after 9 am were we able to get help. Not enough crockery for an 8 birth frying pan looked 20 years old. On the good side we had plenty of bed clothes which kept our 8 year old warm. THE INTERNET DOES NOT COVER THE CAMP ONLY THE CLUB AREA. I was sold camp wifi. In the office its fine back at you van forget it.
If I could get a 1/2 decent caravan there it would be great.
On arrival, wasn`t allowed in until 16.05, we waited in the cafe and were quite put back by what seemed like teenages running it while the manager was out side smoking and yapping on phone, staff didn`t use gloves or head protection, using their bare hands to handle meat ,salad etc.also kids allowed to come from the pool area, brushing their hair in the cafe. our caravan was well out of date and should be scrapped, little or no heating, had to use 3 quilts each to stay warm.I have stayed in some rough caravan parks in my time, but this caravan was he worst
was a great holiday for the family.well done.
Best price I could find for 5 days in school holidays for northwest of England. Good choice of things to do. Only negative point was the swimming area, the swimming pool and seating area were great but changing room and toilets were flooded with stagnant smelly water (if you walked into changing area or toilet the water was that deep it it flooded over your shoes). We were lucky that it was hot when we stayed so I walked back to caravan with children in their swimming costumes and showered them there.
I booked two caravans and was assured they were next to each other due to my disability this was imperative when we complained to the staff they were extremely rude, this was such a shame as the caravans were excellent quality and would have been perfect for our annual family weekends away the facilities were great, just very dissappointing
Had a good time but was to far for children to walk beach. The van need a few things sorting out but was ok.
If you want a base to explore North Wales and are not to bothered by your surroundings then this is your place. The caravans were in need of tlc, some lightbulbs not working, picture frames cracked, curtains wouldn't close properly etc although they were clean. The childrens club was dire - colouring in a picture in the smelly sports bar was not my daughters idea of a kids club!
Caravan was lovely but it wasn't a silver for some unknown reason we got a 3 bedroom with beds made up no complaints what so ever. Staff and food at the cafe was brilliant, camp clean and close to all amenities within walking distance,But reception staff need some customer service skills and the extra £15.00 charge for taking two cars needs to be more aware of.all in all a good holiday.
Great place for the kids lovely clean site and the food was reasonable n fresh. pool was lovely and clean plenty of room to sit n watch the kids swim . The staff would go out of there to help .
Our holiday was great, although staying in April is a bronze caravan is not ideal as it was so cold and we only had on small heater in the living area.
Our children loved the amusements and the indoor swimming pool is fabulous.
The kids disco every night is amazing for children.
The only thing I could really moan about was the changing facilities in the swimming pool were not good due to water over flowing which made getting change really difficult to keep dry!
The beach is a short drive plus you can drive to castles which are beautiful.
We would defiantly go again but upgrade to a better caravan.
lovely place and staff.
Nice holiday kids enjoyed entertainment would comeagain s
the club is too small for the size of the park .
there needs to be path ways between caravan allour shoes were ruined in thick mud .
This is the worst caravan park I,ve ever had stayed. Changed 3 caravans in 3 nights stay.
Caravan1 : No hot water
Caravan 2: No hot water
Caravan 3 : No hot water, no gas, no electricity, no kitchen utensils etc..
Very rude staffs.
They want their customers to carry the TV, microwave, kitchen utensils , Beddings ect.. which they have to make ready before arrival.
Rating : Unacceptable -- Very very poor
Very clean caravan a little dated which is to be expected in a bronze van, facilities are great pool abit cold bit i do have my heating on in june:-) staff where great no complaints at all great holiday!!
