Third bedroom rather small for teenager! He had to sleep on the sofa instead as the bed was too small for him.

Lovely, modern, clean caravans providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.

We weren't actually given the key to the pentland van
Only two rooms were madw up instead of rhw three needed. Had to sleep on lounge as lack of bedding. Not enough towels for number of people. 1 bath towel between 3 ans only 2 hand towels. No tea towels and a filthy dishcloth. Staff very sparse until end of holiday. Cleaning staff very lazy and noisy

Brilliantly clean! And little touches like teabags and coffee made it a great place

everythings ok, except the fridge ! it's the second time we come, it's the second time the fridge don't work!!! (two different holidayhome) they have to change it but just give us a small one with a little freezer, as we just buy frozen...
It's a great pity, because the holidayhome was a new one very comfortable...

The caravan was clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen was fine for basic cooking. We had an extra toilet in the main bedroom which was unexpected.
Confirmed guest, 2015-07-18
Caravan was immaculate but would have preferred one with a decking rather than just stairs. However, this did not affect our enjoyment if the holiday as there was a picnic bench outside.
Confirmed guest, 2015-07-17
Lovely size and has a nice living/kitchen area with everything you need. Only problem was a mattress either not good or not to my liking.
Confirmed guest, 2015-07-04
The static caravan was a pleasant surprise - see above.
Only one issue for us - it did not have a decked area with secure gate, as had been suggested in the info provided. This would have been helpful to keep the dogs secure.

Lovely caravan. Very clean and modern with lots of family room
Confirmed guest, 2015-05-29
The accommodation was to a high standard and it was really easy to get to Edinburgh centre by bus. We really enjoyed our stay. Many Thanks

Lovely to enter the almost new caravan and find it so clean. We did find the steps to the door a bit steep and feel a veranda around the caravan would have improved the appearance and facilities.
Confirmed guest, 2015-04-13
The caravan was nearly new but was showing signs of wear ,some of the cutlery was missing.

The caravan we had was a 8 berth, but it feltlike a 6 berth .
In one bedroom it was so cramped that your feet was touching the red hot radiater , thats very dangerous if you have kids.

Helpfulness of staff
Could not have asked for any thing better. The staff are very helpful and the stable bar was spot on,the staff on the monday night were just great even being run off there feet. A credit to the site and edinburgh was the dogs. GREAT.
Wonderfully clean caravan. It was a joy living there for 4 days. The weather was exceptional and made everything so perfect. A great place to visit during autumn and winter. The Stables restaurant was warm and comforting. Good food too and helpful and pleasant staff.

Very clean caravan, immaculate site and perfect location for family visits to Edinbugh and the surrounding area.
Lovely park, caravans clean and spacious, not much for young kids, but plenty to do in the city centre which is only a short bus ride away.friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay here and will certainly be back 👍

The caravan we had was lovely, best I have ever stayed in, very spacious and clean in every corner , and plenty to do at caravan park but couldn't enjoy much of outdoor because of lovely rain that Scotland has to offer
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-24
Lovely site perfect location for us.

Fabulous site, lovely location, so convenient for the city centre of Edinburgh but in a location that is peaceful, green and relaxing. Thank you from all of the Robert Burns The Musical team for making the cast's stay one to remember!
Hopefully we shall be back!
Wonderful stay for Edinburgh Tattoo, excellent bus service into the city centre. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything was good except that I wasted money buying access to wifi we could not access at all. I know it's not provided by the site but they shouldn't be recommending it in their information. The company supplying the wifi never responded to my many phone calls and emails. Real let down

Excellent caravan, good location for exploring Edinburgh, lots to do close by. Relatively expensive, we had to pay festival prices although the festival hadn't actually started.
Confirmed guest, 2015-08-08
The campsite was excellent nice and quiet. The public transport into Edinburgh was great and the bus stop was only just outside the entrance. The food at the stable bar was really good would definitely recommend it.
Excellent surroundings, immaculate caravan. Very easy commute to Edinburgh city centre. Play park was good for children.
Had a wonderful time, the caravan was spotless and very comfortable, the staff were helpful. WIFI too expensive!
Confirmed guest, 2015-07-11
Very good caravans, surprisingly good showers for a caravan.
Staff we met were very good.
Only slight downside was the on site restaurant, could do with a refurbishing.

Perhaps the major attraction of our holiday parks in Midlothian is their proximity to Edinburgh, one of the world’s greatest and most beautiful cities, home to the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and much else besides. You’ll need to set aside more than just a day to do justice to the many attractions of Scotland’s capital. But there is much more to discover in Midlothian itself. The Pentland Hills Regional Park is a network of footpaths and great for walkers. It’s a justly popular day out for the residents of Edinburgh. And families will love the facilities at Vogrie Country Park, another excellent destination for a day trip.Something not to be missed on one of our Midlothian caravan holidays is a visit to the famous Rosslyn Chapel, which featured as a location in the Da Vinci Code. The chapel, with its mysterious crypt and associations with the Knights Templar, has been the source of many myths and legends over the years. Rosslyn was also the site of one of William Wallace’s victories against the English. Borthwick Castle, one of the most impressive medieval Scottish castles, is also well worth a visit.
Excellent caravan with one double and two twin. There is a two bedroom caravan suitable for parties including visitors with partial disabilities – please check when booking.
