The campsite was excellent nice and quiet. The public transport into Edinburgh was great and the bus stop was only just outside the entrance. The food at the stable bar was really good would definitely recommend it.
Excellent surroundings, immaculate caravan. Very easy commute to Edinburgh city centre. Play park was good for children.
Had a wonderful time, the caravan was spotless and very comfortable, the staff were helpful. WIFI too expensive!
Very good caravans, surprisingly good showers for a caravan.
Staff we met were very good.
Only slight downside was the on site restaurant, could do with a refurbishing.
Caravan was very clean and to a high standard, park was lovely, caravan park was close to city centre but felt like we where in remote area, children's plat park was fantastic. We will be returning highly recommended.
Great place to stay. Only a short walk to a bus stop where a very regular service takes you into the centre of Edinburgh. Good size of pitching area for caravans or tents, they also hire out static caravans of good quality or wooden wigwam's which look great. There are many shower and toilet blocks. The site has a small shop, pool tables and a great bar which serves nice food.
excellent accommodation on an excellent site
Excellent location. Perfect to explore Edinburgh by bus from the stop outside, and good transport links when going by car.
Good facilities on a well-designed site. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the static caravan was spotless and looked like it had hardly been used before.
Only niggle - we had to wait an extra hour before we could access the caravan, which caused problems as we had two tired young grandchildren and two dogs with us.
We were very impressed with the park. Beautiful area with plenty to do
The camping was very clean and there were different activity to do moreover there was a very useful shop for basic needs
I stayed for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and surroundings. The park was adjacent to good bridleways and very handy for dog walks directly from the caravan door. We found the bus service into the city very convenient too.
Good location in pleasant surroundings ,within easy reach of Edinburgh by bus. The stop is within walking distance of the park.
The only complaint we had on this visit was the Stable Bar management we wanted a quiet drink after our day out and was informed that ALL seats were reserved and therefore could not sit down as the bar was virtually empty we decided to give it a miss and walked out.
Would recommend this Holiday to anyone:)
accommodation was first class. but on a slope.
