New Beach is one of the finest places in the south east for a family holiday. There’s so much to do around and about you’ll have difficulty deciding where to go next. You can even pop over to France for the day. There are competitions, fun and games for your children during the day, entertainment in the evening and a large screen television. This leaves you free to relax and enjoy the heated indoor pool, play darts or pool, try your luck in the amusement arcade or have a quiet drink with friends and family in the bar. Once the children’s entertainment has finished in the main ballroom, it’s time for you to have fun, with entertainment ranging from dancing, live music, discos and cabaret show time. There is also a café with takeaway, a supermarket and a launderette to help with the essentials.

The site was littered with rubbish and the caravans were very old and poorly presented (ours was mouldy/green on the outside). There were also a lot of caravans that had clearly been abandoned and were extremely overgrown. In the clubhouse on thebSunday night (which was extremely busy) there was only one person serving at the bar. After waiting 10 minutes to get served we went to the pub next door which was much nicer and actually cheaper. Wouldn't stay there again if you paid me to!
Parking is the only concern we were lucky as we were able to leave the car on the Neptune pub as our caravan was just the other side of the fence. But people with a family had to carry their luggage quite a distance to their caravan. Apart from that the caravan was ok just a bit tired but very comfortable.
The clubhouse is a bit dated and does not appear very clean. The prices are a bit high in the restaurant. The whole area needs to be sectioned off a bit. Trying to eat with the load music and kids dancing is not ideal.
The caravans were lovely (except we had to ask for teapots which had gone missing), and we liked not having cars parked next to the vans - ideal for the children to be able to play outside safely. BUT:
the shop had no bread when we arrived on the Monday and STILL had no bread when we left on the Friday, and with no supermarket close by (nearest one was a bus ride away) and no milk on a couple of days this really scored a black mark.
the swimming pool's changing facilities were very unsatisfactory.
the service for meals in the clubhouse was extremely slow.
we assumed (wrongly) that the dining area would be separated from the noise and bustle of the clubhouse.
Very nice place and very friendly staff
enjoyed the rest but would have liked a bit of entertainment
Had a great week at New Beach The entertainment was great for the kids and the pool lovely we would certainly be going back
Me 2 friends and our children went to stay here.
The bedrooms were damp you woke up cold in the mornings. The sofa was broken. The toilet door was broken. There were holes in the walls in one bedroom. The tables were dirty when we got there. There where power cuts in the amusment area so money was lost on machines. We ended up coming home earlier then planned. We didn't get any money back, or discount offered for another holiday. Very disappointed.
nice location but please turn the music down it was so loud it was just to much noise .and a pathway would be nice to walk on
parking was a problem. you have motor homes up on bricks .the car park to the back of the site which is were we had to park is just mud and bricks not happy with that at all
My holiday experience:
1. Parking - not enough parking nearer to the caravans. Struggled to find parking most of the times which wasn't a pleasant experience.
2. Bed linen - we were a family of 5.. Bed linen was only provided for 4 people. Disappointment with no extra pillow case and duvet covers. Glad we did bring a spare blanket.
3. Check in - check in time was at 4pm.. However we only revived our keys at 4:45pm. This was not a good start to our holiday, espically when travelling a 2 hour journey to get to our destination and being there half an hour early before our check in (3:30pm). The staff wasn't well organised when it came to sorting this out.
4. Lighting - during night time it would be nice if there were some sort of lights around the caravan. It was absolutely pitch black when trying to find our caravan.
Overall our experience as a family was a disappointment.
Would not recommend, very cheap, shabby holiday park.
The car parking arrangements were not good. In the week was a bit of a struggle to find a space but both weekends were terrible people parking on the yellow lines and the grass.
That was a bit of a turn off for coming back again.
Me and partner stayed at new beach for a well earned rest. We stay in one of the gold caravans. It was lovely clean and tidy. Good value for money. The entertainment was ok. If u want a nice no frills holiday thats good value for money. U wont be disappointed. Alot for children too do. Yr right near
The beach in dymchurch which
Is a lovely place.
The caravan was a lovely size, but not well cleaned considering its newness. Basic items expected not in the kitchen utensils. Campsite old and tired particularly the main facility building. Food ok but overpriced for what it was. Staff very friendly though. The high sea wall in front of the camp that you had to climb to see the sea and boulders on the beach were not expected.
