Helpfulness of staff
This is our 3rd time in the same caravan over 2 years and we hope to use it again.
If you want peace and quiet then Rowanbank is for you. If you need laundry facilities whilst there then you can do so in a clean tidy environment. Don't know about the facilities for ladies and gents etc for tourers but the hired caravans were ideal for our needs.
Very clean caravans and tidy, suitable for purpose ie dogs allowed caravans clean but maybe for non- dog owners a whiff of dog can be detected but for those who love dogs etc not a problem
Well kept clean and peaceful

good welcome by on site management, not suitable for children
Rowanbank is just the kind of facility we want- no need for slots, pools and night entertainment clubs etc for us so if you like peace and quiet and the ability to walk onto the beach and fish etc then it is the place for you and the dogs if you have them.
Nice relaxing week away, staff more than happy to help.

We had an excellent stay, ideal location to tour around the lakes, the views were amazing from the beach across from the site especially the sunsets. The caravan was good, enough space, well equipped although TV was really small, and there was quite a lot of dog hair on arrival, but overall clean and inviting. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and approachable. There's not a lot in the immediate area however a walk or drive away and you've got beautiful scenery and lots to do, we actually didn't spend a great deal of time in the caravan, mainly just to sleep as there's so much around to explore. Great for small families, couples, walkers and explorers!!

The site was OK but would benefit from a cafe or takeaway or a little shop for basic essentials. The caravan we stayed in was very nice especially as we had central heating ( at a cost of £30) but was a bit short on kitchen equipment, we had to go out and buy a tin opener!

Very quiet area, nowhere local to go out to eat but very good access to the beach.
Caravan was ok but lacked a few things.
Reception very helpful and informative.
