All breaks for all arrivals
Was handy for Newcastle where we were attending a convention that weekend. Just 45 mins run into the city. Nice quiet site. only problem kept losing the TV signal. Guess it was the location.
Beautiful surroundings, clean caravan and very friendly, helpful staff.
What a lovely remote site, we have pets and for them to supply a dog cover was thoughtful. The tray of welcome drinks was appreciated and most unusual in a caravan holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful. My only minor irritation was the duvets and pillows were stained. The crisp
White bed linen was fabulous. I loved the peace and solitude. Thankyou,
Lovely spot, remote as other feedback suggested, but we wanted this. Couldn't fault the staff as they resolved anything that needed sorting.
Peace and quiet for a Mon-Fri break with beautiful location and very helpful staff. Handy for places like Hexham, Vindolanda (Roman Town excavation), Hadrian's Wall and several other places of interest. Easy to see why this site is so popular and we will definitely be back again.
Lovely location very quiet and remote, only draw back was lack of eating places nearby - both pubs within a couple of miles had fairly limited menus and both a bit on the pricey side, however there were some reasonable eating places at nearby Hexham & Corbridge.
Peaceful location and lovely walks. Caravan couldn't have been better.
Lovely location, if a bit remote. Nice caravan, just what we wanted. A clubhouse would be welcome in such a spot, but the village pub was excellent.
Lovely site but a car is essential, 6 miles to nearest town. Quiet site not a lot for children but ideal for adults wanting a relaxing time. Beautiful countryside and plenty of places to visit.
Lovely caravan park but a bit to remote for us
Upon arrival at the park we were met at reception by extremely helpful staff who gave us a welcome pack that was full of information that came in very handy. It was a little chilly the day we arrived and the caravan had been heated ready for our arrival with tea and coffee sachets laid out for our use, a lovely welcoming touch that I have never seen in other caravan parks.
The park is in beautiful surroundings and the children's adventure playground meant my kids were never bored. It is only 10 minutes from Hexham which has plenty to offer from eating out to activities.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff helped to make it a lovely break we will be going again and I have already recommended it to family and friends.
The accommodation was very old and in such poor condition that we came home 2 days early thus spoiling our holiday.
Also the access road on the site was in extremely poor condition and requires immediate attention.
The location was a bit remote but would not have been a problem if the caravan had been worth coming back to.
Never never again.
We usually choose Hoseasons but on this occasion feel very very let down.
Very remote but as long as you do not mind using your car some wonderful places to visit all within a short drive
great holiday. staff very friendly a beautiful peaceful site. hope to return again.
Very remote but poor views [too many trees around the site] also a lack of peace and quiet
the noise from other caravans was clear to hear footsteps and talking and children running around inside. Only about 5 mt between each van
