Found park to be really clean. Apartments were really nice and provided everything you needed.
One small criticism, I think the children's entertainment should be earlier as seven thirty a bit late, also soft play area a bit small.
Stanwix park has great facilities but unfortunately the entertainment team are not up to much! It really lets the place down. However we went in term time so I cant speak for what its like in school holidays. We really enjoyed the pool, snooker room and bowling alley though although they are an extra cost. Silloth itself is awful...yes there's a cobbled street but the quaint fairground by the sea I imagined was a few travelling fair rides on a car park! Won't go back again im afraid...its not worth the money.
Brilliant.lovely clean campsite and facilities. Helpful cheerful staff
Fantastic holiday !! Only thing had dogs left in a nearby apt howling ! But overall great apt really clean and comfy .Nearby silloth lovely ! Great walk along the front and wee local shops nice great time spent x
Holiday was good the only downfall was the WiFi connection even after paying £18 to have the service in the apartment it didn't work for 3 days when approaching the reception I was given a number and dismissed therefore adding more cost to the initial £18
Beautiful apartments, very clean. Fantastic park. Amazing staff! What more can I say...... My 9 and 12 year old boys were entertained from start to finish.
Very family friendly sight. Caravan was lovely and clean well equipped. Staff were helpful.
Was a last min short break with 2 teenage girls , enjoyable , very clean site , girls had plenty to do , but eating out not much choice , disappointing start when our booking was not on the list and was at first made to feel it was my mistake , until I remained adamant that I had booked there and staff went to investigate and found our booking ,
We were 3 generations and the facilities were very good. The bowling alley was a great facility for us all to join in. The indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic as was the bowling. We were able to play pool on the regular and small pool tables so the kids could play too and enjoy and learn the game. The only downside was that e cloth was torn by a player and it took several days to be repaired, though we were still allowed to use it. There was plenty to do on the camp including a fitness suite, tennis court and crazy golf outdoors. Bicycles on hire, so you could have a very healthy holiday, a combination of fitness and relaxation or just a very relaxing holiday, something for most tastes and lifestyles. The shop wasn't well stocked but was adequate though it could have been open earlier for the early birds. The beach is in walkable distance as is the town centre around 15/20 minute walk from the camp but there is free parking everywhere for those who prefer to drive. Been to this part of Cumbria before but first time in is camp and with the facilities on offer including somewhere to eat you don't have to leave this camp.
family really enjoyed the site ,and would recommend to friends.
great holiday children had lots to do only complaint is the speed that the maintenence staff drove in and out of the compound we were in the 1st caravan next to it
We had a great time. Was quiet as only Scottish children on summer holiday but it meant our kids got to swim and it wasn't busy and they got a chance to participate in everything and were on stage etc entertainment was still all on and the staff were absolutely fantastic Only thing I would say is that I would have expected another food outlet on site as the cafe at the swimming pool must surely get busy over the summer period. On other sites we have been to they have had for example a fish and chip shop etc
Great site with lots to for children.
Loved the park, the caravan & the surrounding area! Took our boys (5&7) who said it was their favourite holiday :) we'll definitely be back.
Generally good place, facilities would be stretched to bursting if park was full & lots of people on site. We were only out of season by a few weeks & there was only a small cafe to get food, no information on site about where else to go for meals/ takeaways & wifi very expensive! Not a lot of options in the local town either.
