All breaks for all arrivals
We only stayed for 2 nights and the was ok, wouldn't fancy staying for a week. We found the facilities a bit out dated. The staff we saw were very friendly.
We all had a lovely week, all the staff where very nice and polite, the entertainment manager was brilliant very entertaining, the caravans where very clean tidy, very impressed would return to waterside anytime.
We recently stayed for a long weekend in a "New for 2015 Gold Plus" Caravan. Yes all nice and new but cleanliness could be improved on, my point mainly referring to the floors, as it is vinyl flooring, which is excellent, you can't see the bits and so I don't think its being cleaned properly. The site is in a great location though I think its just the private homes that get the sea views. We didn't visit the club house in the evenings so couldn't comment on that. We visited the eatery to order a takeaway, only a few tables occupied but the member of staff said 20 minute wait as he was so busy with people sat inside. Food ok but nothing brilliant. Small shop not open long enough. My main complaint which would perhaps make a difference to me booking again was that the pool closes at 5pm. What a disappointment on a lovely summers evening, we had been out for the day and wanted to enjoy sometime in the pool and just managed 1/2 an hour. Taking into consideration English weather, you don't always get an opportunity everyday especially on our weekend when the pool was closed on our day of arrival due to a maintenance issue!
Extremely Functional park, souless in character. Seem to be more interested in selling caravans than holidays. Staff polite but just going through the motions without enthusiasm. Location is good but park is a big let down.
Pool heater not working for 3 days
Reception staff unhelpful and arrogant
Perfect location - didn't have to use the car all week because of the close proximity to coastal path and frequent bus service. Clean caravan. Helpful friendly staff. Only thing missing - an indoor pool although the outdoor pool was very warm.
Lovely holiday, great location and lovely clean caravan. One criticism is the on site shop, no milk or bread at 9am on two occasions, surely these are the two basic items you would have plenty of. Another criticism is the staff at reception, unfriendly and not particularly helpful. Other than that very nice place.
Could not fault the staff one bit, especially takeaway and bar staff, the shop closed at 5pm which was of no use anyway with the lack of essentials and the grounds was immaculately clean and well maintained
if they could update the club and restaurant a little it would be the perfect place to stay because the caravan and surrounding areas are great for a family holiday
Very good site, been several times before. Near to shops and within walking distance of Good ring ton and Paignton
a gold plus caravan not really iv had better accommodation in bronze caravans on other sites was cold staff not very helpful
The park looked dated and in need of renovation particularly the club house and resteraunt. The caravan was nice and clean, but there was no vac to clean up! The reason we stayed is because they allow dogs and we visit the area every year - our usual site nearby does not allow dogs. I also injured myself on site as the caravan steps were unsafe - I spent the whole week on crutches and I have to have physio as I am still in pain. The issue was reapired staright away but it was too late for me
Me and the wife stayed in a Gold plus 2 at Waterside park from Saturday 21st March 2015 for a week the caravan was quite nice wouldn't say Gold standard compared to others we've stopped in at other sites but nice. The site its self is well situated just up the road from Goodrington Beach we like this because you can walk for miles if you want to and leave the car parked up the site its self is well maintained and all staff are very helpful and fun to be with the Smugglers restaurant is not bad for breakfast's and snacks then there is a main clubhouse were the entertainment is which is also quite good. We only found 2 negative points and they are you cant park next to your caravan unless its around the outside edge can be a pain for elderly people and getting your things from the car to the caravans and back and the second is the prices of drinks £3.60 for a pint is OTT other than that we enjoyed it all's that's left to say now really is if you fancy it book it and have a fantastic time
Beautiful and clean
