Only stayed for 1 night even though we had booked for 4 nights. Nobody bothered to even ask why we left, just to say leave the keys inside the cabin. No follow up call. We were told the place is dog friendly, however they are just tolerated. Nothing in the welcome pack to say where the local walks were or even a small area to let the dog run around a bit (a lot of other places have that facility). The welcome pack just had a lot of do's and don'ts. Dogs had to be on a lead at all times, and as the cabins did not have any private terrace, we couldn't even let him out for a sit in the sun. The hot tub (which we did not use) was visible to the people who were fishing, which is something that could have been sorted by a simple screen. The ford to cross to get into the park can be quite deep at times which has actually caused some damage to our car getting out. What rounded the holiday off for us was the fact we were the only people staying on site which was fine, however there were two men working on the cabins around us who could easily see us and our car. I decided to do a bit of shopping in the local town only to come back to find one of the gentleman had decided that was an appropriate time whilst i was away to go and ask my wife for our address and credit card number which made us feel very uncomfortable as he could easily see I wasn't there and mentioned it to my wife.
The men who were cleaning also used the area outside the lodge to go back and forth, which made us uncomfortable using the hot tub - we did not get in it once.
Lovely quiet break, loved the hot tubs. Very clean
Amazing, lodge was amazing, hot tub was amazing!!
Wonderful Holiday.... Real lovely place...
recommended to anyone
Lovely setting ! Quite and very pretty!
The only thing I would say was the hot tub was not available straight away, we had to wait for the following morning before we could go in so lost a day!
Wrexham a couple of problems with the property, the TV didn't work but it was late evening when we realised so too late to report, also was very cold and the sky lights had a,leak
Lovely relaxing break amazing location
No staff around to welcome you on arrival, after about half an hour managed to find some man walking around, very unprofessional , also very secluded with nothing to do anywhere near!
Lovely quiet location but within wasy reach of the coast
very peacefull, hot tub was lovely very good stay xx
Beautiful area, very quiet and peaceful
Location is ideal for doing absolutely nothing. Very quiet, and dark skies.
Please note though - when it says 'check out time 10am' they mean it. We had a guy at the door at the stroke of 10am toe tapping and reminding us that we had to leave. We took an extra 10 minutes to get ready, so he came in and was in stripping the bed before we'd left the place.
Nice and peaceful good base for visiting the coastline
We had problem with the boiler and the problem got sorted straight away
