Really nice site and lodge, we really enjoyed our stay. It was a good size for what we wanted, comfortable, warm and clean. The hot tub was outstanding. The only down point for us was that we could not dead-lock the door and windows, but that is a problem for us wherever we go because our son has autism and tends to get out when we'd rather he didn't. But the layout of the lodge made it easy to keep a close eye on him. Would definitely visit again, and choose the same accommodation, we had a really nice stay.

Comfortable, clean warm and welcoming, couldn't ask for better, and the hot tub just puts the cherry on top.....fab

Really disappointed i dont feel the lodge matched the description. We had rubbish under the beds lots of cobwebs in every room not cleaned to the standard of other resorts we have stayed in. Staff member was quite abrupt.

The lodge was clean and the furniture was all lovely.
I cleaned the table and got quite a bit of dirt off.
Cob webs around fittings. But nothing to be alarmed about. Just comes with these sort of places :-) overall very happy

Paul very helpful and was always easy to reach if we had any questions. We left a babies steriliser behind and Paul was really helpful in getting it back to us

Been here a couple of times now, absolutely wonderful place. Quiet, but ten to fifteen minutes away from two different towns that have a selection of shops so obtaining food and other supplies is no problem. Recommend this place as a great place to unwind! Hot tubs on both occasions have been great.

A great escape from it all.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Goodiford Mill! We arrived and called the number who said that someone would be with us shortly. We found the key in the door and let ourselves in, and one of the staff arrived about half hour later as we were unpacking. Log cabins were lovely! So cosy and everything that you need for a break away. Luckily we'd arranged a Tesco delivery for soon after we'd arrived, although there is a Tesco very local, it was nice to have it delivered after a long drive. We were worried that it could be a bit cold, but it had full central heating and we were always toasty. The décor is maybe a little dated, and could do with updating, as could the bathroom, and the beds, as others have said, aren't the most comfortable, but it's perfectly adequate. The hot tub just outside is the absolute icing on the cake though! We spent quite a lot of time out there in the evenings and it was beautiful. The surroundings were so pretty too, even if you're not into fishing (we weren't) have a walk around the lake and take in the views, it's so peaceful, although watch the mud, it can get a bit slippy! It's quite a central place to have a nice drive out from, and only a few minutes away from the motorway. All in all a great little break, we'd definitely book to go again, no hesitation.

If you want to relax and get away from the world this is the place for you. Just what i needed after a busy year and would pay a return visit in the future

A lovely short break in a very nice lodge, clean and comfortable. Fab hot tub! A great location in a peaceful spot, but near enough to the motorway to be able to visit favourite places in both North and South Devon. Was initially concerned after booking that the directions included crossing a Ford, but it was very shallow and not a problem. Would definitely visit again.

We felt the lodge looked tired and a bit dreary. Some of the areas eg the bathroom would benefit from some attention. The bed linen looked old and having to hire the towels seemed like an inconvenience. I think they should be included in the price.

We had a very relaxed stay at Goodiford Mill, it is within easy reach of Exeter. The lodge itself was very large and home from home. It's equipped with everything you need and it spotlessly clean. The hottub is an amazing feature which was very enjoyable. Will definitely book here again.
Great time at goodiford, lovely location and very peacefull. Would definitely return.

Excellent short break. Very restful, the hot tub was brilliant, everything clean and well laid out.

No hot water pressure no good so could only have cold baths showers x
went with a group of 6 girls for a friends birthday. Nice setting although a few more local pubs serving food all day would have been nice. Nice quiet, relaxing setting. Lodge was amazing, well equip and hot tub was clean and in full working order. Avoid Weary Traveller Pub at all costs!!

Wild and rugged round Hartland Point, then stretching out into wide, surf-washed sandy bays – explore one of the world’s loveliest coastlines when you stay at Hoseasons holiday parks in North Devon. Surfers and sailors flock to Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde and Ilfracombe, and windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing and diving are all popular on this coast too, while walkers are attracted to the spectacular views along the coastal path. It’s also a working coast, and fishermen still bring their catches into harbours at Bideford and the enchanting villages of Appledore and Clovelly, whose whitewashed cottages seem to tumble down steep cobbled lanes to ancient quaysides. And when planning caravan holidays in North Devon, don’t miss a chance to take a boat trip to Lundy Island, a beautiful haven for wildlife. You’ll find great days out within easy reach of all our caravan parks. North Devon offers a great array of family attractions – life-size animated dinosaurs lurk in subtropical vegetation at Combe Martin’s Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, the Milky Way Adventure offers thrills of a more adrenaline boosting kind, and sheep races and duck trials feature in the fun at the Big Sheep.
