We enjoyed our short break here at Warren Lodges very much. We have already booked next year but different lodge, because just one thing marred it for us - Lodge number 26 (Bassetts), has an awfully steep approach to it with shingle you can't get a grip in the car. Nearly burnt out the clutch getting up it.
Our second visit - absolutely loved it - can't wait to come back next year
The lodge was not well equipped 3 pans for a family of 8, there were 7 light bulbs not working, there were dirty pans in the cupboards, no tea pot, no hangers to name a few. Once I complained the staff did what they could to help
First lodge holiday.
The place seemed quite new so not established although set in lovely woodlands. Lovely indoor pool and very quiet. The lodges were well equipped however I was slightly disappointed as the lodges are more like wider static caravans. When I think of a lodge I think of wood and a lot of it. These are plastic made to look like wood. Hot tub was nice although we had conjunctivitis on our return. I don't think I'd return as there are better I'm sure. In summary. Fine but not great.
Great place and facilities. Hope to stay again - loved the peaceful, open surroundings.
Lodge was excellent, but too far from bar and restaurant so if you want to do nothing then perfect, if you want to do things then not the place for you.
Cabin was lovely but the site was a bit bare, could do with some landscaping. It would have been nice to have some trails or something for the children to do. Also could do with a kids menu at the club house.
Ourselves and some guests stayed here the night on our wedding at the warren golf club. The lodges were lovely and the hot tubs a great addition! The setting is beautiful. Our only complaint was that we didn't have enough time there! Fantastic place to stay!
beautiful area and the lodge had enough facilities for 3 couples (elderly family) very warm and cosy nice pubs in the area
Beautiful surroundings, quality accomodation and an opportunity to relax .. Hot tub was great for chilling in after a day out walking and exploring and watching the rabbits and deer made it tranquil and peaceful.
We had our annual girlie weekend at Warren Lodge and had a great time. It ideally situated close to many places but felt like you was in the country side miles from anywhere. Having the swimming pool was good and the changing room were clean and specious.
Lodges were nice but area and local village was disappointing. Hot tub was too small for 4 adults
Been to the Lodges before, last year and already booked again for July. Lovely place to spend a quiet weekend.
We had a brilliant weekend, really chilled and relaxed in beautiful surroundings. The Hot Hub was marvellous and we spent a lot of time in it. Would definitely return.
Only criticism of the accommodation was that it was 6 berth and there were only 2 x 2 seater sofas, even a couple of beanbags would've been better than sitting on the floor!
Sunday Lunch at the Golf Club could've been better but the staff were lovely.
A lovely place to stay in lovely surroundings, very cosy yet spacious and comfortable accommodation. I couldn't have asked for better!
