Your whole family will be captivated by the 12 acres of natural woodland at Ogwen Bank. Situated in the Nant Ffrancon Valley in the foothills of Snowdonia, where rabbits play freely on your doorstep. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The River Ogwen runs through the grounds with waterfalls, pools and nearly a mile of river frontage.Just a mile away is the old traditional Welsh slate village of Bethesda, while ZIP World (as seen on TV – the nearest experience to flying) is only a 5 minute walk. A warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere awaits you in the heart of the park at the Olde Worlde Country Club (formerly the hunting lodge to Penrhyn Castle). Relax in front of the log fire after the day’s activities.Trout and salmon fishing is available on two stretches of the Ogwen (permits locally). There’s pony trekking (8 miles), canoeing locally and magnificent walks. Explore Snowdonia and visit the resorts and beaches of the delightful North Wales coastline.

Shop was non existent. Receptionist checked us in whilst talking on the phone and continued the whole time.
The only good thing about the park was the location and the river.
Perfect little family holiday.... Accomadation was perfect ,clean and tidy and the lady at reception was lovely..... Would definately stay here again
Excellent location amongst trees and overlooking river. Very close to lots of tourist locations - we visited Llandudno, Bet
Great location for exploring the Snowdonia National park. The campsite is in a lovely location next to a river with lots of safe walking from the site itself. Also walking distance to the Bethesda zip wire attraction.
Very pleasant place to stay. The park facilities are a bit dated and could do with an overhaul.
We didn't use the facilities much as it was mainly a base for long walks but the location was lovely and waking up to the sound of water rather than cars was such a peaceful start to the day!
Work can be very tiring so a nice break away to somewhere new is what we were looking for. That is exactly what we got. we cannot fault the park at all it has excellent facilities, restaurant/clubhouse. The location is spot on.
We had never been to Wales before, and will consequently be returning and staying at Ogwen Bank.
I have already recommend this park to Friends And Family
Lovely location and very pleasant staff. Good food in the Clubhouse too. Only disappointments were a lack of cleaning items (cloths, washing up liquid, toilet paper etc) and the cleanliness of the cabin was not great. Apart from that, very good. 8/10
Lovely location and staff. Kitchen just lacked basic utensils to adequately prepare a meal. Lodge was cosy and bed very comfy.
Great Park stopped in lodges was clean and brilliant value for money it was lovely and warm for march. The on site pub was welcoming and the food was good for value.
Lodge was lovely and cosy...everything you need. Location lovely...short walk into Bethesda to convenience store and pubs. That was great because as we stayed slightly out of season...the on site shop had very little stock and the club house was closed. We will go again in warmer months to enjoy the fantastic scenery....maybe even try zipworld...which is very close by .
fabulous surroundings, beautiful scenery, great for walking, zipworld is is about 5 minutes away.
Bangor approx 10 mins drive away
Snowdon (Pen-y-Pass) approx 20 mins drive away
Needs a little bit more in the games room for the younger generations not just slot machines _ food excellent value for money . kids loved the park and pool tables _ excellent views of the river and Snowdonia and still had snow on the peaks.
Not very clean
Not quite so much park as I thought from the pictures but beautiful site and cabin lovely. Shop lacked stock - no bread when went in morning
