Fab place, nice fully equipped lodges, will return when we need to chill again
Overall enjoyed our holiday, however the day before we were due to leave they had a party in the pub onsite. The music was extremely loud to the point of the lodge vibrating this went on til midnight. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this and not have to go and ask what time it finished as we had children who were trying to go to sleep for the journey home the following day. We were also disappointed on departure, no-one was available to take the key, therefore I rang the contact number to which there was no reply this has never happened before.
fantastic lodges great welcome pack including a bottle of wine for the adults and juice for the kids
great staff and food onsite brilliant choices and value for money
close to flamingoland and lots of other attractions
Lodge beautiful, Spencer's bar served fantastic food and the staff were very helpful and friendly
Excellent touring base for the coast and moors. The onsite restaurant was a great bonus with excellent good value food, loads of choice and great beer! The hot tub was lovely to come back to after a day's sightseeing as were the reclining leather sofas. They are still doing work on site at the moment e.g. finishing the play area, which will be fab once it is all complete.
A great place to stay. The lodge's have all the comforts of home and are very clean and well maintained. Highlight was sitting in the hot tub every morning and evening.
the lodge was really cosy the bar and grill on site had really nice food and people very helpful wiil definatly be back
Had a fantastic time. Owners were very welcome. Lodge was beautiful with a big big bonus of the hot tub.
Lovely stay, the staff make you so welcome
Absolutely beautiful break! Cant wait to go back x
We love it at Pickering Lodges, this is our second year there. 1st year we stayed in the Levisham Lodge but found the hot tub quite small for 4 people to get in so this year stayed in the Goithland Lodge and loved it. Came home and booked the same week already for next year.
Very nice although we didn't have time to relax too much as we were there for a wedding.
top holiday will go back soon
Cosy well equipped lodges in a lovely location .
There is Spencer's bar on sight and it's good value for money , we didn't eat there but we heard good reviews about it from the locals .
My friends stayed in the lodge next door and again it was excellent , only gripe from my friends were the beds were low and uncomfortable .
Just a word of warning if you are on a tight budget take extra £50 as the site manager asks for this as a bond , this is no problem as you get it back at the end of your stay .
Lovely location, luxury lodge.
Restaurant food is good and staff are extremely friendly and helpful
