This is our 2nd fantastic weekend in two years. Will be even better for the kids when the adventure playground is completed.
Would be fantastic if you had plans to build a cabin which sleeps 8.
Superior lodges, luxury furnishings.
Peaceful location and excellent staff
The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, and Spencer's bar and grill holds a welcoming atmosphere.
Our short break holiday was very enjoyable.
We had a great time - The walks near by were nice and the pub/ bar was lovely as were the staff
Brilliant!! 30mins away from scarborough beach and 30mims to york we went to both! A fun and relaxing weekend away! The staff were ok but wouldn't say they would go out of there way for you, nevertheless they were friendly.
brilliant stay nothing a problem thank you
Love the place we stayed here in November it was beautiful lodges very cosy & clean
The perfect place for a weekend 'getaway.' Treated my Mum for her birthday and she claimed to have the "best birthday ever" - the jacuzzi is a particular high point. We visited the nearby village, Thornton Le Dale on the Sunday for a roast dinner - very pleasant and picturesque village worth exploring. In terms of the bar/grill on site - Spencers - good quality food for very affordavle prices and lively atmosphere. All in all a very successful trip.
There are only five or six cabins on this site which makes it very private. Located just off the A159 about a mile from Pickering. Great for Flamingoland, Eden Camp, North Yorks Moors Railway, Goathland, Whitby, York and many other places. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were on hand but left us alone. There is a bar and restaurant on site which is open from 4.00 on weekdays and 12.00 on weekends. Serves food as well.
Lodge was perfect, set in a quiet, but local location.
Lodge was equipped with everything you would need, was lovely and warm!
Is an ideal base for travelling to York as well as Flamingoland which is only a 5 minute drive away.
The Spencer's bar & grill attached to the lodges is great as is the bull pub just across the road.
Would definitely recommend and will def be back!
excellent lodge in great location, we have already booked for next year
so speaks for itself.
This small park is excellent - the best we have ever stayed at. The staff couldn't do enough to help and the location is lovely.
Found the lodges to be very clean with everything you would need for your break. Staff were very friendly and helpfull and would definately go back.
Second time we have been to Pickering Lodges. Would go back a third time without hesitation
Nice quiet location, lodges nicely situated near lakeside edge, think the lodges with hot tubs could do with a bit more privacy.
