This is in a great location and the steam trains are a wonderful bonus. The accommodation is in a perfect location. This was our third visit and we would definitely go back. Our only comments would be that the accommodation is a bit tired and in need of some TLC. We appreciate we were visiting at the end of the season and understand that the matter is to be addressed.

What a location! And a variety of steam/diesel trains running past during most days was the icing on the cake for me. The inclusive travel pass was well utilised. Exceedingly comfortable accomodation with everything we needed. LLangollen within walking distance for supplies/eateries - the car never moved all week! Railway staff were warm and friendly, as were most locals we spoke to.

Everything was wonderful, apart from parking the actual parking for one car is ok but found that a lack of no parking sign or residents only sign made issues .We took the car out after managing to shut the gates behind us but someone opened them again and parked their car so we could not park anywhere ,the hotel car park is a way and i think you should not have to park elsewhere ,so we did not take the car out again for fear of not being able to park next to the house ,we spent most of our time on the train but very enjoyable week the station staff were Very Nice a great cup of tea or coffee and lots to eat ,i will book again thank you.Marilyn from Kent .

Fantastic location. The house is a good mix of tradition with a modern twist The complimentary train tickets were well used and we got to meet locals who had helped restore the property. The welcome pack was lovely though glad we’d brought our own milk to use it!!

Still a fantastic place but found the beds rather soft as we like a firm mattress. Terrific location made even more memorable with the Steam train. Did find some of the electric hob plates did not work. Well equipped. Welcome pack a lovely surprise.

Character property in a fabulous location - the complimentary passes for the railway were well-used and much appreciated. There is a problem with the downstairs bathroom but the company are aware of this...

I have been here twice now with different members of my family, parents and children and they all loved it, my daughter age 28yrs has named it as "the special house" my husband and I booked it as a xmas gift for my son, daughter, their partners and their dogs, they went in March and had such a memorable break.
