Beautifully fitted throughout in oak, creating a bright and open visual space. This cruiser-style boat has lots of living space, with a large galley/dining area, and lots of storage space available.

Large fully equipped canal boat catering for large groups or families. Spacious saloon with two sofa areas, which can both be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is a TV/DVD player and a CD/Radio player. Well-equipped galley with a gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. There is a microwave and a cafetiere in the galley. Sufficient cooking utensils are provided. Three cabins. Two cabins have two singles beds and a high-level bunk above one of the singles (three singles total). The forward cabin has a further two single beds. Two full bathrooms, both with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower.

The Boat The Duck is a 60ft Cruiser stern narrowboat that is part of our ’Alvechurch Fleet’. It sleeps up to 6 people, ideal for families and groups. BOAT DESIGN FEATURES All of our boats have full radiator central heating with hot and cold running water supplied from a 150 gallon water tank. We also include a double filtered drinking water system. The Duck has a 2kw Inverter that supplies 240 volt electricity to certain appliances and sockets on the boat. There is carpeting in the saloon and bedroom. Also features a security box / safe. BEDDING ARRANGEMENTS Sleeps up to 6. Two cabins, both can either be configured as one double bed or two singles. The seating area in the saloon can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. Wider Beds: Optional wider beds available Singles at 2ft 6" / Doubles at 4ft 6" There are wardrobes located throughout the boat (see layout options) for storing clothes. Freshly laundered bedding for each crew member. Additional bedding available on request. There is an additional TV in one of the bedrooms. One cabin has a fixed double bed and the second and third cabins can either one double or two single beds. Bed linen is supplied. Bathroom One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. There is a separate wash basin and toilet in-between the forward cabin and saloon. Towels are supplied. Heating Full radiator central heating. Electrics & Wifi 240v electricity (max 1,000 watts). On-board there’s a small travel hairdryer and a 12v mobile phone charging point. Please note, if you decide to use your own appliances you do so at your own risk. The boat is fitted with an internet hub giving free unlimited WiFi access. Pets The first pet travels for free. You can have up to three well behaved pets. Second and third are charged at £25 each for a short break, £35 each for a week.
