The names of the boats in our flotilla of luxurious Pea Green Boats are inspired by the beauty of Edward Lear’s famous and evocative poem, ‘The Owl and Pussy-cat’. The quaint but luxurious Piggywig offers a cosy getaway for two. Our much-requested boat is 52-feet in length and features a modern and stylish layout. Features include galley at the stern, an elegant double bedroom, chic kitchen and walk-through shower room. No Pets.

The Swift is a 49ft Cruiser stern canal boat. It sleeps up to 4 people, ideal for couples or small families. Fully equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. Microwave, toaster and cafetiere. Saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc included. One forward cabin which can either be configured as one double bed or two singles. One bathroom with wash basin, flush toilet, and shower. There is also a 240v shaver socket.

The Partridge is a 66ft Semi-Trad stern canal boat. It sleeps up to 6 people, ideal for couples or families / groups. Fully equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. Microwave, toaster and cafetiere. Saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc included. The Partridge class has additional ’creature comforts’ such as LED lighting throughout, 2 TV’s, Large mirror in bathroom, shower with bi-fold door, 4 speaker CD/Radio, extractor in bathroom, Front deck table and wider beds. Two cabins, both can either be configured as one double bed or two singles. The seating area in the saloon can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. Two bathrooms complete with hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet, and shower with bi-fold door. Includes a 240v shaver socket.

69ft semi-traditional stern narrowboat suitable for larger groups of friends or family. Spacious saloon with two sofa areas, which can both be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is a TV/DVD player and a CD/Radio player in the saloon. Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. There is a microwave and a cafetiere in the galley. Sufficient cooking utensils are provided. Three cabins. Two cabins have two singles beds and a high level bunk above one of the singles (three singles total). The forward cabin has a further two single beds (or this can be a double bed). Bed linen is supplied. Two full bathrooms, both with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. Hand towels are supplied.

Bathroom One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. There is a separate wash basin and toilet in-between the forward cabin and saloon. Towels are supplied. Heating Full radiator central heating. Electrics & Wifi 240v electricity (max 1,000 watts). On-board there’s a small travel hairdryer and a 12v mobile phone charging point. Please note, if you decide to use your own appliances you do so at your own risk. The boat is fitted with an internet hub giving free unlimited WiFi access. Pets The first pet travels for free. You can have up to three well behaved pets. Second and third are charged at £25 each for a short break, £35 each for a week.
