The lodges are the perfect location for guests who love the outdoors. There are ample walking routes, local golf courses and the opportunity to fish on the River Tweed. Each lodge is decorated and furnished tastefully, with textiles inspired by the Scottish countryside, each room is finished to the highest standard, surrounded by mature woodland for the ultimate countryside retreat. The lodges have been finished with the latest mod-cons, including a SMART TV and complimentary WI-FI. On the outside, the lodge also has its own screened and gated deck with a private hot tub and seating area for outdoor relaxation. There’s also not only an electric vehicle charging facility but to make life easier each lodge has its own shed for storing bicycles and pushchairs.

Several local attractions have children’s programmes and events to ensure guests of all ages are entertained during their stay. Guests can make use of their complimentary grounds pass which allows them access to several trails around the estate. One particular trail will lead you directly to Thirlestane Castle which is open for daily guided tours through the summer, and private castle tours can be organised year-round.
