With its high ceilings and generously sized rooms the light just pours in making this house feel very bright and airy just what you would expect from a coastal property.\n\nWhether you are looking for an active holiday or a relaxing break Southport has something to offer everyone. Ideally located between Liverpool and Blackpool along the Sefton Coast Southport has over 22 miles of coastline and one of the oldest piers in the UK. The pier along with the fun fair Ferris wheel Splash World indoor water park bowling cinema theatre laser quest and restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk which means you can leave the car parked at the house and not have to worry about traffic or parking. The train station is also within a 10-minute walk and from here you can take a train into Manchester or Liverpool.\n\nJust across the road is King’s Gardens a 17-acre garden which has an adventure playground tea rooms and lake. It hosts various events throughout the year including an outdoor cinema. Other popular annual events held in Southport include the RHS Flower Show fireworks championships and Southport Air Show. Southport is also famous for its world-class golf courses including the Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Shoppers will enjoy Southport’s famous Lord Street which apart from having lots of great shops also has plenty of nice bars cafés and restaurants. Again this is within just a 10-minute walk of the property.\n\nOf course there is also lots to do outside of Southport itself. Young children will enjoy a visit to Farmer Teds 11 miles or Windmill Farm 9 miles whilst nature lovers may wish to visit Martin Mere Wetlands Centre 10 miles or the red squirrel nature reserve at Formby 10 miles.     This is a gem of a place, it catered for all of my families needs, from the youngest to the oldest, in a lovely relaxing environment, situated close to everything that you could possibly require. For a lovely relaxing stress free break or holiday then this is definitely the place to stay.

    The highest compliment I can give is that this felt like a home from home! Not easy to find for 12 people. Great location, we managed to squeeze 5 cars on the drive, just as well we could walk everywhere. The kitchen is really well equipped, we didn’t have to keep washing up to get a mug for a drink or a plate. We decided to all eat together one evening and the kitchen had everything you needed and we all sat around the table together. IMO these small details really matter. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend. The welcome hamper is indeed very welcome, great to grab a cuppa and a biscuit after a long journey. Thanks our stay was a great success!

    Fantastic property - great location close to pier and a few minutes from the shops, Splash world and other attractions. Property itself is amazing. Was very comfortable and spacious for our family group of 11 across 3 generations. Dinner table seats 12 and there was plenty of kitchen crockery & equipment provided. Very clean and tidy - would book to stay again if we return to Southport.

    A truly excellent holiday cottage in a brilliant location. It’s perfect for large group gatherings and with the Kings Gardens across the road and Lord Street a 5 min walk away there is so much to do on the doorstep. The owners made us very welcome and were very responsive to our queries.
