Our stay was for only 2 nights. Alnwick makes a good base and if we hadn't arrived by car we would have had a relaxing break. The apartment is advertised as having one reserved parking space (no. 34). This was not available having been converted to a cycle stand. The free parking available nearby had restrictions which had to be considered by us when planning our time. Phone calls to Northumberland Cottages resulted in sympathy but no action. My car left overnight in a clear space, to enable departure before 10, had a note attached - "number noted" "residents only" "will be clamped" etc.

The best apartment we have stayed in! Spotlessly clean, interiors and furnishings superb, location couldn't be better within walking distance of all amenities. Instructions to enter and leave the apartment easy to follow and reassuring to know that you and our car are safe. Would certainly recommend this apartment.

This apartment is perfect for local amenities, local places of interest and will meet all your needs. The views are stunning, looking over the church. The furnishings are top class and the kitchen well equipped. There is a travel cot, high chair and other child friendly equipment (including books, colouring books and DVDs). Everything you could think of has been thought of. You are within a twenty minute drive of all the fantastic beaches - Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell being our favourites. I can not recommend this apartment highly enough.
