Had a great week at Annie's Cottage. Even with dismal weather we had it was still a great stay. The area makes up for everything with the amazing Dartmoor not to far away.

Annie's cottage was a lovely little cottage in a very pretty village where everyone seems to take pride in the upkeep of their properties and gardens. Sally (the owner) and neighbours we met were all very friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself was well equipped and space was very cleverly made the best of. Kitchen and shower rooms were both very modern, and there was a very comfortable king size bed. (We would have scored 'comfort and equipment' 10 had there been a sofa that was as comfortable as the bed). It was also lovely to have the wood burner as our dog is addicted to ours at home! Although the garden was opposite the property, it wasn't a problem and a very pleasant space (albeit note that it is not enclosed for dogs) along side a little stream. There is just the one pub (Who'd Have Thought It Inn) in the village that has just recently changed hands, and although the menu isn't quite as adventurous or extensive as it had previously been, the food we ate one night was good and the owners/staff there was very accommodating and friendly, and the beer was well kept. We had a very pleasant stay in Annie's Cottage and would happily stay there again (more than just the two days we were there) and recommend it to others if looking to stay in the area.

We had a truly memorable time at this beautiful little cottage and the surrounding area. The village is charming; a little gem tucked away with a friendly historic pub. Dartmoor ponies are very nearby which instantly lifted my spirits. The countryside is breathtaking, romantic and simply stunning. There is so much to do and see. We were only there for a week but would have loved to see more. The owners are caring, friendly and very helpful. They are willing to deal with any problems you may have, although the cottage has so many thoughtful touches that it is unlikely you will have any. The only slight issue for us was that the WIFI was a little intermittent, but mobile access was just up the road. It was rather nice to get back to the cottage and forget about it all anyway! The cottage is beautifully finished, characterful and cosy - perfect for us as a couple. We have already recommended it to my in-laws! A beautiful holiday made even better by the accommodation and it's owners.

Lovely little village, great pub in walking distance. Really clean, lovely handover of the cottage with a warm welcome and devonshire tea. Popped over later and gave us some freshly laid eggs. We had a great time

this is a splendid little cottage, ample for two, with everything you need and nothing that you don't. The area is frankly amazing and is also situated within easy reach of Dartmoor allowing for extensive exploration. The owners are charming and helpful and will go out of their way to ensure that you have a good stay in their cottage, of which they are justly proud.

This is a delightful cottage in a beautiful location, ideally situated for exploring the Tamar and Tay Valleys. Annie’s cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We can’t wait to return there is so much more to explore. Thank you Sally and Christopher, perfect hosts. Andrew, Carolyn and Rufus ?

Lovely cosy cottage in the delightful surroundings of Dartmoor. Local pub is amazing. Other amenities are a drive away. Great base for exploring and enjoying Dartmoor.

Great cottage, really friendly owner who was more than helpful in going through a late arrival and making suggestions. Cottage was beautiful, incredibly clean and so warm and cosy. A great escape from normality and we even took up the recommendation to visit the local pub, which was also really welcoming and the food was lovely. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.
