A lovely well equipped and comfortable cottage. Plenty to do nearby - easy to get into the hills and explore Snowdonia, head to the beach or more touristy things like Portmerion and the Welsh Highland Railway.

Excellent, loved the multi fuel burner, so cozy. Everything i could possibly need. Idea cottage, location for some fantastic scenery and walks.

The owner of Arddwyn has done a great job in making the cottage comfy and easy to use. However, this 400 year old cottage is damp. After condensation running down the bedroom wall, we were given immediate advice how to minimise the problem. At this time of the year we feel unable to recommend this property.

Lovely cottage in a good location for touring around. Good Tapas in Portmadoc. The Lemon Tree is excellent. Spar shop down the road. Couldn't be better.

A lovely little cottage with everything we needed (except the sunshine) we found some lovely places nearby as it is perfectly placed to explore the area. The basket of tea, coffee and cake was very welcome and my husband discovered a love for welshcakes ! All in all a lovely week away.

Great base for a walking holiday. We used the train quite a lot to do parts of the Welsh coastal path. Also the Ffestiniog railway to walk back (easier than going up) from Ffestiniog to the cottage.

Excellent location for exploring tourist destinations. Filled 7days sight seeing.

We had a wonderful break at Arddwyn cottage, it is well situated for most activities, personally we used it as a base for mountain hiking and exploring Portmeirion. It is a very quiet cottage with everything you need, even a tumble dryer, oh and Wifi/internet connection is excellent. The cottage was very clean, tidy and comfortable. It is very close to Porthmadog (coastal town) where there is loads of shops and a Tesco supermarket with petrol station but Penrhyndeudraeth itself also has a few small shops.
