Large garden shared with neighbouring properties. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note There are 2 steps in the garden.\n\nThis charming end of terrace property is only a short walk from the main high street. Ash Grove makes an excellent base to explore the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park York and the southern Lake District National Park. Hidden up a narrow cobbled lane this cottage offers visitors the opportunity to come together and enjoy this vibrant Dales town in comfort. Entering into the property from the cobbled lane you are met with a large contemporary kitchen offering the best quality accessories. With its vaulted ceiling and slate floor which runs through into the dining room the chef in the family will be more than happy to spend time cooking for family and friends and the large dining room is just perfect to sit and enjoy those home cooked meals. The cosy living room is flooded with natural light from a large bay window. With sumptuous sofas and a traditional wood burner this room really sets the scene for a cosy night in.\nWander upstairs where there is a selection of bedrooms. The large modern house bathroom can also be found on the first floor and features a shower over the bath. This charming cottage offers a third bedroom tucked away on the second floor and again offers kingsize accommodation with the velux windows offer lovely views and the low ceiling provides a romantic ambiance. All rooms are decorated to a high standard and compliment the property well. Outside there is a small courtyard at the rear offering a lovely little area to enjoy al fresco dining or just to sit and plan the days activities and to the front of the property is a small enclosed garden. As with many Yorkshire terraces Ash Grove shares a larger enclosed garden with the rest of the row and is a great place for the children in the family to meet with local children and enjoy a game of rounders or a quick kick around.\nThe market town of Skipton has so much to offer visitors from a great selection of shops and restaurants to the ancient castle which is open daily. The market sits on the cobbled area either side of the main thoroughfare the Aireville Park with its swimming pool and fitness centre is worth a visit. Skipton is famous for the canal with runs through the town. Why not sit outside one of the many cafés and tea rooms and watch the canal boats meander on through or enjoy an evening stroll along the canal side. You can even book a days boat ride and enjoy the stunning Yorkshire Dales countryside from the water. The west coast town of Morecambe is also within easy driving distance. Whether you are planning on hiking walking cycling or just relaxing this cottage is a relaxing home away from home for the whole family. Shop 500 yards pub and restaurant 600 yards. Excellently modernized and comfortable. Beds good. Heating good. Kitchen equipment good.
Some smaller drinking glasses would be nice, for (say) breakfast drinks, whisky, gin, sherry. (not really a BAD point).

Well appointed with just about everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Local restaurants, cafes and bars are within easy walking distance. Comfortable beds that can sleep up to 6 people. Quiet end of terrace location during school holidays. The owner acted immediately to any of our requests.
Access/parking. Being at the end of a long narrow, rather quaint cobbled lane had its problems. There was no where to turn your car around and it was very narrow to reverse back down even with a small car like ours. This was compounded by neighbours who parked in the lane. After the first day we parked on a side street. It was holiday time so the school directly opposite was not in use. Not so quiet during week day, term time I think. Misleading facts about the distance the train station is away from the property. Maybe “as the crow flies”. There is one toilet in the property which is part of the bathroom upstairs. A second toilet downstairs would have been useful especially when we had 6 adults in our party.
