Mostly good. Lovely kitchen with good oven and large fridge. Beds are very uncomfortable and the hot tub water was yellow/green. Plus little things like broken clothes hooks and broken DVD player. House smelled of dog when we arrived.

Lovely owners, beautiful cottage. Only faults were; intermittent hot water, WiFi impossible to find and connect to, not enough toilet roll provided for a 2 night stay. They are just niggles. Everything else was great!

We have just returned home from a fantastic weekend break at Bailey Cottage. I would highly recommend this property. Lovely owners, lovely location & great facilities. The owners two dogs are also lovely .

7 ladies from our book club received a lovely welcome from the owners - plenty of parking - beautiful setting and the opportunity to walk from the cottage door - lots of space inside - hot tub very hot - games room excellent - the DVD player did not work our only disappointment so we played board games instead of a movie night in - excellent weekend would love to visit again - the owners did try to offer advice about DVD player but we decided not to waste any further time trying to get it to work

We enjoyed The Bailey, and were able to find a place to go if we needed peace and quiet. The pool table and hot tub were a bonus!

Much better suited to families than group of 9 adults. I can see it would be ideal for 2 families holidaying together. Twin bedrooms small. Also lack of forks and plates meant we had to keep washing them. 9 forks for 9 people. Only 8 place mats. Only 5 wine glasses and 4 flutes. We had to ask for something to enable us to open and close velux shutters nothing could be found owner made something but it did not work! We were forwarned that wifi did not work. We also had to ask for logs as only one in basket. However owners were friendly and helpful. Most beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub.great location for hay on Wye and walks from the door.

Enjoyed a relaxing weekend with girlfriends. Very pleasant accommodation. Plenty of facilities for self catering/

Stayed at the bailey cottage for my moms 60th birthday Friday to Monday. When we arrived there was crumbs on surfaces and dog hair on carpets upstairs (despite saying no dogs allowed upstairs). The first night we arrived we was told to take the dog inside and keep the noise down at 11pm on the Friday night after our dog barked once at a bird outside. Did not find the owners very welcoming or friendly. The only redeeming factors were the games room, hot tub and the two friendly border collies. However the unfriendly owners ruined the weekend for us.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Bailey with a friendly welcome. The hot tub and games room was a great addition to our holiday and were well used. A couple of slight criticisms though. When we first arrived we found empty cake wrappers on the floor next to the sofa upstairs and also a soggy pair of boxers in the washing machine - leaving us to wonder how thoroughly the cottage had been cleaned and checked before out arrival! Also the policy of not allowing dogs upstairs, although we totally understand why, made it difficult for us as a whole group to enjoy the main living room which is located upstairs, as our dog used to settling in the same room as us in the evening. Apart from that it was a lovely spot to spend time in, thank you.
