We have stayed in some beautiful houses over the years but this one is going to take some beating. The house is immaculate, the owners, Janet and Gordon, have thought of everything and were perfect hosts. The views out over the loch were stunning, even when it rained. If you are lucky enough to book a week in this beautiful house, it does get very busy, then you’re in for a real treat.

Baileyfield is simply stunning. The views, the standard of accommodation and the attention to details Gordon & Janet gave are the best we’ve seen from all our holiday lettings. Fresh baked scones and dog treats on our arrival and personally welcomed by Gordon who gave us some top tips for walks, Pucks Glen is a must see! If I could 12/10 I would!

Fabulous holiday had by all, even our two dogs. We did not want to leave this beautiful place and it’s pretty views. The owners Janet and Gordon made sure we felt so at home, arriving to yummy scones and Prosecco was a lovely touch. We tried to book for next year as we loved it so much but was already fully booked. We hope to come back again ?

Lovely house for our family getaway. Bit hot with all the glass surrounding the kitchen and the living room but apart from that it was exactly what we needed. The owners could not have been any more helpful.

Even better than we'd hoped! This really is a stunning property and we have just had a fantastic family holiday in this lovely house. The owners (Janet and Gordon) have really pulled out all the stops and everything is top quality. We had great weather all week which helped but even if it had rained we would still have enjoyed sitting by the fire and enjoying the views across the loch. Lots to do in the area to suit all ages and interests and make sure to look out for the nesting swans opposite the Strone Inn. Book it! You won't be disappointed!!

Just back from a wonderful week at Baileyfield. The beautiful house is equipped with everything we neeeded and more and is set in a great location with stunning views. There was plenty of activities for the kids within a few miles of the house including swimming pools, soft play, cinema and woodland walks to name a few. The adults were also kept busy with plenty of local hills to climb, easy water access for kayaking, galleries and plenty of places to visit for decent grub. Wouldn't hesitate to book again when we go back to this area.

Baileyfield is amazing if I could have scored 12/10 I would have. Everything about the property is luxurious and we enjoyed every minute of our 7 day stay. The views from the house are spectacular. The hosts are friendly, warm, welcoming, charming and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend a stay and it is really good value for money with every amenity a family could possibly need. We will be visiting again

The house was everything we hoped it would be and more. We wanted a bit of luxury and that is what we got. A beautiful house with everything we needed. My nephew enjoyed the ice machine on the fridge freezer and we all enjoyed the filtered water feature too. The welcome scones and bubbly were well received too. Gordon and Janet were welcoming hosts and were on hand with local knowledge as and when we needed it. My hubby enjoyed his games of golf at Strone golfcourse with Gordon in particular. Very challenging and steep! We would love to return if we can get availability but totally understand why it is so popular. If you want somewhere good to eat try The Osbourne in Inellan which was very good and for provisions on the hop the Cothouse garage/shop is well stocked.
