    Hoseasons "Bannerigg is a grade II listed building designed by Pugin and is sister property to Alice Howe.\n\n\nGround Floor \n\nThe house has two gas fired central heating systems and briefly comprises \n\nEntrance porch\n  Leading to the inner hallway which has a large area for storing and hanging outdoor wear. \n\nLounge \n A spacious elegant lounge with open fire fuel not provided leather settees and chairs to seat 16 people 42 inch plasma TV. There are also a number of wooden games for your amusement. \n\nDining room\n  Spacious dining room with a Bose sound system with a phone and I Pad attachment. The room has large windows on two sides which gives it a tremendous amount of natural light. There is a large dining table with 16 padded chairs the ideal place for whiling away an evening. \n\nKitchen\n All the units have granite tops cooking is on a gas fired Aga. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher microwave and large American fridge with icemaker. The room also has a farmhouse style table and chairs - perfect for those full cooked Lake District breakfasts \n\nUtility room \nWith washing machine tumble dryer toilet and sink. \n\nRear hallway\n Leads to garden.\n\n \nFirst Floor \n\n\nBedroom 1 \nWith 3 single divan beds flat screen TV and en-suite shower wash basin and W.C. \n\nBedroom 2 \nWith 4 single divan beds TV and en-suite with shower and WC. \n\nBedroom 3\n With 3 single divan beds and TV. \n\nBathroom\n With WC sink and bath with shower over.\n\n \nSecond Floor \n\n\nBedroom 4\n  Large room with 4 single divan beds and TV.  \n\nBedroom 5\n  With twin beds and TV. \n\nShower room\n  With shower cubicle hand basin and WC.\n\n \n\n \n\nAll electric gas bed linen and towels provided. A rear stone outbuilding houses an 8 seat hot tub. Parking for up to 5 cars. Visit England 4 Star. Please note There is a £200 refundable deposit on this property due one week prior to arrival.\n\n Bannerrigg ’sister property’ to Alice Howe and Boston House a Grade II listed property was designed by Augustus AWN Pugin 1812 - 1852 arguably the greatest British architect designer and writer of the 19th Century whose name is synonymous with the interior of The House of Lords and the Palace of Westminster.  The houses on the terrace were designed as holiday homes for the railway executives each one having unique character. The historic nature of this spacious property is reflected in the style and quality of the decor furnishings and accessories.  If you are looking for a big house in the Lake District for a family holiday or short break with a group of friends Bannerrigg is the ideal choice.\nOutside there’s a new large slate patio. An 8 seat hot tub has been installed in it’s own building in the garden and the parking area has been extended to fit 5 cars in fact if you are prepared to park each other in there’s room for 7 cars.     Fantastic stay. My only gripe was that the hot tub wasn’t hot enough until the following day. There were issues with the heating but the owners did everything they could to sort it out and it didn’t effect our stay

    We stayed at Bannerigg No.5 at the terrace for 3 nights for my sisters hen do. There were 12 of us in total and every one of us spoke about how beautiful the house was. It was spacious, had ample furniture and equipment, and was situated almost directly in windermere village centre. We picked up the keys early, but were allowed to enter the house slightly earlier than booked, which was very kind of the company. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a lovely weekend in the lakes! The only thing I would say is that the bedrooms were very cold, this may have been our mistake however we couldn't get the radiators to work properly, hence the reason for 9/10 in comfort. Other rooms in the house were lovely and warm!

    This is a fabulous holiday home, the location is perfect and a lovely short walk (downhill) to Bowness. The kitchen is amazing and the place is spotless. I highly recommend if there’s a group celebrating as, in true Lakeland style, if it’s pouring down you don’t have to leave the house! The one and only downside is the lack of parking, Bannerigg sleeps 16 but only has car park spaces for 6 ( we did manage more by the lovely neighbours offering some of their space).

    Fantastic house for family gathering! We had a wonderful Christmas for the second time at Bannerrigg. Plenty of space for the whole family and easy access to the village. Perfect.

    We have stayed at Bannerrigg for a weekend 3 years in a row. The property is well furnished with an excellent level of equipment inside. The property is always immaculate and on 2 occasions when the HDMI cable was missing, this was dealt with swiftly by the company.

    We really enjoyed our stay Monday to Friday, Hot tub jets could do with some repair and service. Beds not the best for comfort. The lounge sofas again aren't very comfortable But overall its big and spacious and caters for large numbers! The house has everything you could need from tin foil to ample cutlery.

    Had a wonderful time at bannerig and loved the large lounge and dining areas so we could all sit together.... Fantastic location for waking into windermere and a 10min drive into bowness, 15 to ambleside.... Quite pricey but worth it!!! Shame we were given so many instructions about emptying all bins etc before checkout!!!
