Lovely cottage. The property & location are excellent. The only downside is the parking.

Lovely comfortable house within easy walking distance of the town. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops nearby as well as walks from the house. Very close to the lakes and mountains. We had a fabulous week in spite of snowy weather.

We had a fantastic break at Beech Hill. The location was great for access to the southern lakes and the town of Kendal was just a short walk away. The house was immaculate and had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely place with fabulous views. It makes a difference to stay in a place which is also used and enjoyed by its owners. Good selection of cooking utensils, and a nice collection of books (just needed longer to make use of them!) Well positioned for walking into Kendal, and easy driving access to other areas in the Lakes. Only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a stairgate for our toddler....there were the fittings on the wall but not the actual gate!

We were a group of 5 adults in Kendal for the International Comic Art Festival and we all agree that this is an absolutely delightful cottage, we loved the 50's/retro furniture and the beds were so comfortable. The views were amazing especially when sat on the loo in the bathroom! It is extremely well equipped even down to torches and the location to the town perfect. This is the best property we have stayed at in Kendal. Highly recommend and hopefully we'll be back next year.
