Lovely mews cottage. Very clean and well positioned in the centre of town.

Excellent location and local to shops, beach, train station, cafes and pubs.

Lovely cottage and a great location. There is no parking but the car park is virtually next door and you can buy a weeks parking when you get there. It was really easy. The cottage is well-equipped and clean. My only tiny irritation is the outside space is tiny and really doesn't get any sun. Apart from that we loved it and so did the dogs!

Lovely Cottage in ideal position. Not perfect for dogs, as no grass.

Birch Cottage is in a good location, there is no parking but it's literally next to a car park where you can buy a weeks pass for around £25, this also covers you for parking in other car parks around the area. We found it cramped downstairs, the kitchen and lounge are one so there's not a lot of room. We were pleased we took our lap trays as although there is a table and chairs, they were tiny and pushed into the corner with no real space to move them out in to. There was no cupboard space to put our food so we had to pile all the pots and pans etc in one cupboard. The TV signal came and went and although we went out most days, we could've done with it on a particularly rainy day. WiFi would've helped but sadly the cottage doesn't have it. It was nice to have a sofa each and they were comfortable too. The courtyard is tiny, my dog wouldn't even go to the toilet in it. Only one of the 2 beds was made up, I guess because there were only 2 of us staying there, but since we'd paid for 2 bedrooms it would've been nice to be able to use the other as we often do at home if one of us has a restless night. The main bed wasn't very comfortable and the top sheet was too big, I had to get out of bed most nights to sort it as it had pinged off and I was no longer laying on it. The shower was nice but it leaked and left a huge puddle of water on the floor, I noticed somebody had also mentioned this in the visitors book so the owners have had a heads-up to do something about it. There was no welcome book so we didn't know what to do with the rubbish. Again, somebody had put this in the visitors book and we found there was an area to put rubbish but it was behind a locked door requiring a key-code we didn't know. The cottage is in a courtyard with a security gate which was hard to close as it required an extra push that slammed loudly. This enraged a man who lives above it who shouted at my wife accusing her of slamming it constantly through-out the day. We didn't know anybody lived above it or how to close it without slamming it, this information would've been nice. We were out most days so it wasn't us slamming it all the time, clearly nobody else knew either. There could've been information in a welcome book about this which would've avoided confrontation.
