Situated in Harlech, on the Cardigan Coast within the Snowdonia National Park, it is perfectly central for reaching the tourist attractions of Llanfair Slate Caverns, Shell Island, Portmeirion, Porthmadog, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway, and Coed-y-Brenin Forest. Harlech is also best known for Harlech Castle which dominates the town. The world renowned Royal St David’s Golf Course is opposite (the 2nd in Wales of the top 100 courses in 2013, and 43rd in the UK and Ireland’s top 100 courses also in 2013). Walkers, mountain bikers, climbers, and fishermen will find plenty to test their skills in the area, and for those wanting to travel slightly further, Snowdon, the Lleyn Peninsula and Betws-y-Coed are all an easy scenic drive away.
