With step access, good views across the countryside, and use of the owners’ swimming pool ½ mile away where a hot tub and sauna are also available, this is certainly a break away you will never forget.Surrounded by a wealth of good walking opportunities and cycle tracks this is a perfect location to enjoy the surrounding area.Centrally located to explore the delights of Suffolk, the possibilities to explore are endless.From the Only 4 miles away is the pretty village of Debenham with a selection of shops, inns and cafes, perfect for enjoying a tasty treat or two before exploring further.The picturesque village of Mendlesham is 1 ½ miles offering a post office, pub and bakery, and for those in search of a little more hustle and bustle why not take a trip to Bury St Edmunds where an award winning market and good shopping is waiting to be enjoyed.Other places of interest include Stowmarket, or the inspiring town of Cambridge where lazy days’ can be spent taking to a punt on the river, as you take everything at your own pace.The city of Norwich and the coastal villages of Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich are just over an hours’ drive away. We had a great stay in the train carriage and will return again. Everything suited what we needed and the bed was sooo comfortable! The weather was cold, wet and windy; it was great being inside in a warm old train watching the weather outside!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in carriage 2 it was warm and comfortable. It was lovely to see the carriage retained many of its original features. The beds were comfy, shower warm and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and cake were a lovely touch.
Judy welcomed us with a friendly and warm familiarisation of the carriage and its facilities. There is the option of using a pool and hot tub which only adds to the enjoyment, well maintained grounds to wander in or let children play around in. Very quirky and enjoyable place to stay. recommended highly.
Unique accommodation set in beautiful grounds. Safe for children and dogs. Plenty of space. Just was extremely helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely come again.

We enjoyed the break. The carriage was lovely and well stocked for our needs. We staying during the heat wave and the extreme heat took its toll on us. The use of the pool was needed.
Some cleaning should be done more frequently we saw dead flys in the light bulbs plus dust under bed. Plenty of towels for our use. The extra of washing line was handy. Also the extra freezer in green shed.
The blinds could do with an update plus made safer for small kids.
The outside furniture a little old, could do with a update.
The kids enjoyed the play area and the added badminton net was used. The owners friendly and helpful.
We would visit again and stay in a different carriage.
The milk and cake was a nice touch.
