Sitting prominently, high up in the hills above Haworth is Bronte Barn. This stunning conversion has been completed by the owners and offers the discerning holiday maker everything that they could possibly wish for. Bronte Barn is meticulously presented in a contemporary style, yet still retains that traditional feel that we would expect of a barn conversion. As you enter the barn, a very warm welcome awaits, there is under floor heating throughout, and the most wonderful large wood burning stove glows  from three sides to provide a cosy feel on those cold winter nights. The views from this property can only be described as ’stunning’. The views far across the valley and down to the picturesque reservoir below set the ’perfect’ scene for any holiday. Both ’Top Withens’ (reputedly the inspiration for Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights’) and Bronte Falls are within walking distance. You can enjoy the luxury of this top spec accommodation whilst soaking up the scenery around you. There will always be plenty to keep you entertained at Bronte Barn. The dining table can be easily converted to a wonderful slate bedded snooker/pool table, and provided for your pleasure is a 46" Full HD flat screen TV with Free Sat, Blu-ray DVD, radio/CD player with ipod docking, Wi-fi internet and the ’oh so’ popular Nintendo Wii which is bound to provide hours of entertainment for both children and adults alike! After testing your fitness inside, you may find time to venture outside to explore the stunning scenery that surrounds this property. For the keen walkers amongst you, this is a paradise, with many famous walks passing the doorstep including the Pennine Way and Millennium Way.

Fantastic cottage. The barn was restored to a a superb standard with comfort in mind. The views down the valley are fantastic. It is only a mile away from the pretty village of Haworth with the Brontë museum so great location to visit the Brontë country. All the family had a great time. The pool table is a very nice touch and a great hit with our 14 year old son. Would highly recommend.

The barn has amazing views with great walks on the doorstep, our dog loved it. There is everything you could need in the barn and it is furnished to a high standard. Although Ian and Cate are next door you would not know, but they are available if you need and advice.

A beautiful cottage and the owners are most welcoming and friendly. Nice touches like freshly laid eggs from the chickens, a box of tea bags, cake and beer! Really thoughtful. The cottage is really functional with lots of information and the position is perfect for taking in the spectacular views of the Pennine way etc. The owners have horses (very friendly) chickens, ducks (with ducklings) and a lovely Labrador. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bronte Barn and will definitely be returning in the future.

Bronte Barn is absolutely gorgeous! It is the perfect location with fantastic owners. When you walk into a place and you feel impressed at the welcome, luxury and also feel at home AND it is in majestic surroundings, how can it be anything but a great holiday ahead? And it gets better - the views across the valley to the Heights that inspired Emily Bronte are heavenly and change constantly with the weather plus it is just a hop over the style in the back wall to get onto the Pennine Way. The dogs were made more than welcome with a bed, towels and treats. The welcome pack for humans was also tremendous. I could go on and on!!! There are 3 or 4 good pubs within a good walking distance - assuming you are happy to do hills and lanes - and a good Co-op at Oxenhope. Plenty to do too - with the Worth Valley railway and Haworth village being close to hand. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing couple of days at the Bronte Barn. The Barn is gorgeous and set in the heart of the stunning Bronte country. Everything is finished to a very high spec and the accommodation was spotless. We had everything we needed whilst there and a fantastic welcome hamper on arrival. There are ducks, chickens and horses kept by the owners, and our 20 month old was ecstatic at being able to walk out the door and interact with these friendly animals. We can't recommend Bronte Barn highly enough and hope to return later in the year.
