    A perfect holiday house for a family or friends to spend time together in. It has everything you could possibly need. The garden with play equipment and the extensive toy cupboard were a huge hit! Excellent location for exploring Devon too.

    This is a delightful house, and suited our multi-generational holiday to a T. It had an excellent selection of toys and was well suited for all three generations. My only proviso, and it is a very minor one, is that despite expecting children there were no plastic cups or plates, just the usual china. We were lucky to have no breakages! I have to say that only one loo roll per bathroom and just the two tea towels for the week felt a bit parsimonious. But as I said these were minor complaints.

    The house was beautiful and perfectly clean. There was everything we would need provided for us. Four families shared the house this week including four children and there was plenty of space for all of us. There were children’s toys provided alongside a children’s play area in the large gardens. The house definitely had the wow factor and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The only downside of the holiday was the closeness of local amenities- we had to drive into Kingsbridge for shops/eateries as the local pub was closed for refurbishment. However this did not affect our enjoyment of the week or how much we loved this house!

    Buddleia is an amazing house which was just perfect for our family holiday. The layout of the house and garden were ideal for our group of 10, which included 4 children aged 5, 4, 3 and 18 months. The house is so well equipped, so well maintained and the toys for the children to play with both inside the house and in the garden are brilliant. It is by far the best holiday house we have stayed in and well worth its 5 star rating. It is so well located in a beatiful area of South Devon and we were able to visit local beaches as well as the beautiful towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. We hope to return again in a couple of years.

    We had a great time in this beautiful house! The house is very well equipped and the beds were comfy. The hosts were more than happy to help with an additional request we had. Definitely worth taking a trip to Salcombe! Would book again tomorrow!

    The pillows need replacing, very lumpy and uncomfortable. Awkward getting in and out of the property, entrance right on a busy road. Had to get in the car all the time with 5 children I really wanted to be able to walk down to the water but this wasn't possible; no footpath and just too far to walk with a 3 year old. We had a on line shopping delivery from Sainsburys as there was nowhere within walking distance that was nice to eat, the pub opposite wasn't that pleasant. But I must say that the property was great really big and the garden lovely.
