Please note: There are steps in the garden to a covered pond and burn.This lovely, spacious holiday home is in a peaceful setting overlooking a wooded den with the Lumbo Burn at its foot. Only a 20 minute walk along the Lade Braes into the heart of historic St Andrews, or up to Craigtoun Park and the Dukes golf course. Shopping, eating places and the Byre theatre in St Andrews; also of course, the six town golf courses. Shop and pub 1 mile.

The house was OK, but it was a little dated, quite drafty, and the location wasn't great. The house was extremely cold when we arrived (windows had been left open) and took a long time to heat up. The insides of the drawers (in the bedrooms) were dirty. The kitchen was well equipped.

The house was lovely but the dining chairs and sofas need updating as very uncomfortable. The house is very well equipted. The setting is also lovely. However the hot water situation let it down also. As we couldn't bath or showe down stairs much as the water ran out too quickly and took forever to heat up. If the furniture was updated and a combi boiler for down stairs bath room sorted this would be an amazing place to stay and holiday.
