Absolutely beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. Great location, close to the beach and shops. Loved the hot tub. Would definitely like to visit again.

The cottage was amazing the photos did not do it justice. It was bigger than we expected. The homemade cake was a lovely touch and the views from the hot tub were lovely during the day.

As this was our first ever cottage holiday we feel that we have been truly spoilt. Bwthyn Meulan was everything and more that we would have liked, the beds were extremely comfy and the rooms were of a very good size. The living area was really nice and with it being open planned it enabled us to spend some real quality time together. The cottage was very well equipped from everything you could need in the kitchen (tea, coffee, cleaning equipment, toaster etc) to toys, games, dvds, books, highchair and much more. Bwthyn Meulan is well located for everything that we had planned to do, we never had to drive any longer than 30 minutes to get to places like Snowdon, castles and zip world which was really useful after a long day out. We couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough and the photos do not do justice to the size of the place. Thankyou Ellen for letting us stay in such a great place and thank you for such a warm welcome and of course the fab cake.

A fantastic cottage in a stunning part of Wales. From the moment we arrived the owner made us so welcome. There were lovely homely touches that made it so easy to feel at home. The facilities were fantastic and we never needed to add anything to the cottage to make our stay comfortable. The location is so convenient for many beautiful areas in Wales and Dinlle beach is as stunning as ever. We will definitely return in 2019.

The cottage is spacious and has a great fitted kitchen. The enclosed garden was ideal for our pups and we had privacy. The jacuzzi was much appreciated after busy days walking in Snowdonia. Sky sports entertained my son. Dinas Dinlle beach provided an ideal spot to walk the dogs. Thank you to Ellen too for a very tasty Victoria cake . We had a wonderful holiday .

We had the best time at Bwthyn Meulan! The hot tub was a fantastic add. Ellen is the hostess with the mostess who makes amazing cakes too. It was literally home from home and the scenery was out of this world, 2 minute drive to the beach and 10 min drive to town. Spring lambs right outside our window, made this stay rather magical. Already booked for next year! Highly recommended.

A wonderful cottage that provided us with a great base for our weekend getaway in the countryside. There were 7 of us in total and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bwthyn Meulan. We were very impressed by our warm welcome - a friendly and informative introduction to our home for the weekend, alongside a home-made Victoria sponge was brilliant! The house itself was a gem - very spacious and a beautiful mix of old and new. The electricity cut out on the Saturday morning which was a shame as we weren't able to cook our full breakfast as intended so some food did go to waste which was a shame (and the hob/oven were rather slow to heat up), but otherwise everything in the cottage worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were new and well-fitted and the bathtub was excellent - even in the snow! :) Some soap in the bathrooms would have been perfect, just as a side note. Out stay at Bwthyn Meulan was wonderful and we'd highly recommend it to all those interested in a beautifully refurbished cottage, with easy access by car but in a remote enough area to enjoy the countryside, a good walk, beach times and pub lunches!

We stayed for the Christmas week as a family. It was perfect! A stunning Christmas tree, decorations and roaring log fire created such a beautiful time and now fantastic memories. We spent lots of time in the hot tub overlooking the hills as the location is brilliant, being close to mountains, the sea, and various towns. We had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend.
