Fabulous stay, we wanted rural, private and security for our two dog's. I stay in many cottages and log cabins year round and I have to say this has been one of the best pet friendly. Jac and Rosie very friendly and attentive. The hot tub was very spacious and very nice touches with the gowns and towels. Only thing I would say is maybe a light for the porch area would be of benefit. Overall we will be returning and highly recommend for people wanting to escape and relax! Although we came fully equipt for our dogs I thought it was very thoughtful that there was a dog bed provided and also bowls. Great weekend away wasn't long enough!

First impressions where very good, once unpacked you realise how quiet the world can be. Great views, lucky with the weather. The cottage is very cosy, warm and well equipped. We was left alone but also enjoyed chatting with the owners who gave us an insight into the farming lifestyle. Hot tub was well maintained and looked brand new. Is a great feature after a long day walking the impressive local areas of interest. Close to the elan valley which is well worth at least 2 days of viewing, then go explore, we found some amazing places to go and would definitely recommend Cambrian mountain view as your base. Outstanding value for money.

excellent holiday,we will be using you in the future

Awful holiday. Owner was very rude. Reported us for hot tub having grit, grass and flies in there (photos taken, only grit from feet was found as well as one dead fly, which obviously cannot be helped in an outdoor hot tub). Not private at all, owner caught looking in on the hot tub a number of times. Location is not ideal or private at all as their family home is right next door! The fields around the property are a working farm too owned by the owner of the cottage. Guessing it was the owner and hoping so, was walking around the grounds of your garden during the night. This disturbed sleep and spooked us in the beginning. Especially draining the hot tub 4am. £50 was taken from the £100 deposit as the owner thought 3 of us were sleeping when only 2 actually did. Found this appalling as the deposit should only be used for damages! Owner was disrespectful, intimidating and plain rude towards us. Talking over us and talking down to us. Only positives were, the cottage is lovely and clean. The owners wife was brilliant and couldn’t help us more when the oven broke. The views are lovely also. Could easily get all of this though in a different cottage in brecon. Would NOT reccomend at all, left a day early due to owner.

We went to Cambrian Mountain View for a nice relaxing weekend away from everything and it was exactly that. Jack and Rose were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Cambrian Mountain View is a perfect place to relax and unwind. It has a perfect setting, with stunning views, a fully enclosed garden which was tested thoroughly by our 2 dogs!! The cottage is comfortable with everything you could need, with the added bonus of a hot tub!! There is a pub about a mile away serving good home cooked food, but for everything else you do have a bit of a drive... but this is a welcome compromise for the peace & quiet you get here. The owner is on site, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area if you are looking for places to go. Overall an excellent little cottage in perfect surroundings!!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at this cozy cottage. After a long drive, we were welcomed by Jac the owner, and Mog the friendliest Welsh Collie ever! The cottage was clean and comfortable and the hut tub had a wonderful view of the Welsh mountains. A perfect place to get away and relax. We would definitely recommend this place, and I’m sure we will be back for another break.

A wonderfully quiet and peaceful spot, perfect for getting away from all the hustle and bustle of the world, wonderful views and some great walks, thanks to Rose and Jack for a lovely holiday.
