Had a fantastic week there. The owners were very friendly and always at hand if required. The cottage was immaculate, and with beautiful views. Only a minor request in hindsight - a docking station for music might be handy. We would definitely go back and would certainly recommend Carnish Beag.

Lovely welcome from the owner, Alice, when we arrived. Cottage is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and was stocked with everything you could need for self catering. Views across the loch are stunning. Loved every minute of our stay.

Superb cottage, home from home. The owner was amazing as was the location. Everything was thought about before our arrival, for example, bread, milk, butter, washing powder to name a few! Would definitely recommend this cottage, it really was fantastic.

We couldn't have asked for more. Carinish Beag is a fully furnished, self contained annexe that is part of the owners (Alice) home. It was so lovely to arrive after a 9 hour drive to be met by Alice who had left us a loaf of bread, butter, milk and tea & coffee. Alice has thought of everything. The shower is just amazing especially after a long day of walking and getting soaked. It sits overlooking The Narrows and Loch Eil, with views of the mountains. If you step out on to the shore of the Loch you can see The Nevis Range and Ben Nevis to your right. We were visited daily by a host of wild birds. You could sit on the verandah all day and just watch the birds, water and weather. A truly wonderful relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle but close enough, Fort William is about 20 miles by car to all amenities.

A beautifully appointed cottage which is spotlessly clean. A very nice touch was the provision of a few basics (milk, bread, spread) on arrival. The hosts Alice and Dougie are extremely welcoming and helpful. The property has a wonderful view over the Loch and is the perfect location from which to explore the area. The peaceful location is off the beaten track so be prepared to have a drive to the nearest shops in Fort William. The drive is stunning and the M&S food hall and well-equipped Aldi offer a wide choice. An ideal place to relax and unwind.

We had an excellent holiday at Carinish Beag. Beautiful cottage equipped with everything you need for your stay. It was very comfortable and felt like a home from home - we absolutely loved it! Beautiful location also with stunning views from the cottage. It's in a very peaceful location and we had the most relaxing break there. Alice made us feel very welcome there too. We would love to return one day.

A second visit which did not disappoint. Great welcome and a superb peaceful retreat from the busy world. A very high standard cottage which provides a good base for exploring the local area by road, walking or by boat to the Southern Western Isles. Exploring the Caledonian Canal adds an extra dimension. Recommended for at least one visit, and probably more.

Carinish Beag is a fantastic property with a beautiful view and great surrounding scenery. The cottage was so comfortable and the welcome we received was lovely. The owners really care about the cottage and also ensure the guests have a brilliant holiday. Great walks along the loch and always a real pleasure to return to the cottage at the end of the day. We could not fault it. Marks and Spencer just before fort William was very welcomed and it was a great journey getting there from the cottage so even though no local amenities, it was no hardship at all. Lots to do and the wildlife in this area is great. We go to many self catering cottages and this one was one of the best.

This was the best self catering cottage accommodation we have stayed in .The whole accommodation was more spacious than we expected ,super clean and of high quality. The view from the lounge over the Loch was breath taking. We had the nicest welcome ever from th owner Alice, a lovely lady who looks after her guests and is on hand next door if needed. You are off the beaten track for local shops, there are several big supermarkets in Fort William and a smaller co op just before. This was one of the best holidays we have had, and highly recommend this wonderful cottage for a break in the Highlands. We would love to return one day.

We spent a blissfully quiet and relaxing week here. Alice gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived and has been a gracious host for the entirety of our stay. My partner climbed Ben Nevis, we visited castles and distilleries. This was a fantastic holiday with this little cottage a home away from home. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to stay near Fort William, the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. It's a great place to stay to explore the highlands.
