Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped cottage with stunning views. Fell path from back door. Parking a distance from the cottage (far end of terrace). Access to parking area tricky.

I had a fabulous stay at the cottage with my 2 dogs, lovely walks straight from the door and a great area at the back to wipe off their muddy paws, the bed was super comfy and the view from the bedroom window was amazing.

A last minute booking provided us with a very pleasant, cosy cottage with fantastic views. Not so great with 2 dogs as there was no where just to let them out morning and night so had torch lit walks up and down a surprisingly busy narrow lane but that was no fault of the cottage. Cleanliness was a bit lacking - the piece of broken glass by the fridge door might have proved nasty to either a bare foot or a dog's mouth. Which might explain the only other whinge - that being a lack of small to medium glasses in the kitchen. In a no dog situation I might well be tempted to book Carries Gate again.
