The cottage was an excellent place to hold our weekend birthday celebration. We were made to feel very welcome and everything we needed was there. Only downside was you need a car to get around as the main road is very dangerous, no verge to walk on.

Excellent, beautifully modernised accommodation in a pleasant setting

Excellent stay. Excellent hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating.

A beautifully done refurbishment with lots of beams and lots of space. Our only complaint was that some of the beds were a bit hard.

Beautiful cottage for family’s or friends

Lovely cottage and location but you need a car as nearest shop is 3 miles away.

Loved Hop Cottage. It is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. There is a lovely outside space around the cottage. The open plan downstairs works very well and the kitchen is well equipped. The road noise comes into your consciousness now and again, but it is not an overwhelming issue. We didn't go to Ashperton or use any of the local amenities, but for most things you would need a car to access them. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and received a very warm welcome from our hosts.

Lovely cottage. Lots of space. Very clean. Would have been good to know that there are 2 steps down to the ground floor facilities as we had a disabled guest but we managed. Highly recommend for family getaway

Lovely stay, owners are superb and really helpful, we are already looking for our next stay.

Nice spacious property for a family get together and a good base from which to explore Herefordshire. Shower in the downstairs bedroom is on the small side but you can soap and rinse at the same time saving a bit of time! Upstairs family bathroom would benefit from an over bath shower; but don't let these shower comments put you off. We were all very comfortable in this homely cottage. Made to fee welcome by the friendly owners who were on hand if needed.

Fantastic place for a short break or something longer, will definitely be going back, 5 star finish to this brilliant refurb.

A lovely spacious cottage in picturesque countryside. It is on an A road so a car is needed to get around as it’s not possible to walk from cottage. Owners friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful weekend and made to feel very welcome with the extra nice touches on our arrival. Very clean and homely. Good location for a meet especially with the group traveling from Lancaster and Cornwall. Thanks again for a lovely stay

This is a lovely barn conversion with a fabulous open plan area downstairs with enough sofas for everyone to comfortably sit and play games or watch TV. The owners John & Lesley were very friendly and made us feel really welcome. Two of the bedrooms were spacious with en-suite bathrooms, the other two were smaller with twin beds and not much storage space but as we were only staying 4 days this wasn't a problem. The house was warm throughout our stay and there was always plenty of hot water. Although it is out in the countryside it is ideally located to explore the amazing town of Ledbury with its old timber framed buildings, the town also offers a good choice of pubs, restaurants and shops. Hereford and Tewkesbury are also within easy travelling distance. There's also a nice pub within a mile although it's probably not a good idea to walk to it along the busy road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book it again when in the area. There were a couple of minor disappointments. First the main bathroom did not have a shower so four guests had to either have a bath or 'borrow' a shower in an en-suite, this is not ideal and there didn't seem any reason at all why there couldn't be an over bath shower. Secondly we would have appreciated a mirror in the smaller bedrooms and more glasses & crockery in the kitchen.
